Respect to Matthew and Nicholas for taking the piss out of what everyone expected them to do (“I’m sorry. I love you.”) - perfect execution. No notes.
And it warmed my heart (as a long time fan of the Bucks) to hear a good ol, loud “f*** THE YOUNG BUCKS” break out multiple times. Just…*chefs kiss*
Sting knew what he was doing when he hand picked them to be his final dance partners.
I know it’s a Briscoe thing (RIP Jay) but they too are 100% “top 5 dead or alive.” Full stop.

I begrudgingly suppose I understand why the Bucks are as divisive as they are, but I genuinely consider them my personal greatest tag team of all time. This new gimmick is just another feather in their cap, and is the reinvention to move past the “Young Bucks” moniker that everyone has been increasingly clamoring for as Nick’s hairline has receded.

They were a HUGE part of everything last night, from promos to characters to in ring work and selling. Legit best team in the world.
Bonus points for kicking the shit out of Flair.

I understood the concerns over whether they were the right final opponent but generally disagreed, and after seeing last night I'm 100% certain they were the right choice out of who was available on the roster. You need that heel heat to justify that craziness they wanted to do in the match and they brought it.
And even though they lost I think it's got their new gimmick over a bit more and they can run with that

The Bucks are awesome. They know their place in wrestling and fill it perfectly. It's so funny watching some of the people who hate them get completely worked by them without realising it. If you don't enjoy their gimmick then fair enough, but so many don't even seem to realise it is a gimmick.

Too bad, Bucks, get in line.
All of us here at FAN hated him first.

I can not give the Bucks enough credit for what they did in that match. They were the perfect team for Sting's last match. Standing ovation Nicholas and Matthew.

I’m even more excited to see how Matthew and Nicholas react to failing in sending Sting packing with an L.

They were great in the match, and I say that as someone who's not a fan of theirs.
My issue right now is why is TK allowing his EVPs to go around bullying people backstage. Unless this leads to GM Sting to keep them in their place.

Without us, he'd be in Orlando, jobbing to a guy WE let go (example : Lexis King) for not being good enough for us!"

The strain of Young Bucks hate that generally goes "They have no psychology because they do flippy moves! They should get real heel heat by doing holds and slower moves like the teams I like from the 1980's!" is one of the most bizarre point-missing thought processes in wrestling, an active ignorance of how much heel heat the Bucks generate by doing ridiculous moves and how ruthlessly optimized their entire act is for audience response. They are two of the most athletically impressive pro wrestlers to ever do it, and they also manipulate audience responses to a fine degree that very few have ever managed.

And if it leads to (in my fantasy booking mind) Okada winning the title and going corporate champion & aligning with them then building to something where the remaining EVP…the rational one…the one whose been off tv for a minute….the one who has a long history in the ring with Okada putting on 9 star classic after 9 star classic…is the one fighting for the soul of it all? Perfect. Chefs kiss.

What's hilarious is that the people with Bucks Derangement Syndrome who get so worked up by the Bucks, will then turn around and call everyone else "marks".

I'm generally of the opinion that there's a dividing line on 'I dislike this because it is not a thing I think is good' and 'I dislike that because I'm being worked', but a lot of Bucks hate absolutely feels like a sequence of own-goals and staggering levels of missing the point, to a degree where it's kind of hard not to say that they're absolutely working themselves the whole time .

Unless this leads to GM Sting to keep them in their place. They semi addressed it in one of their interviews with Renee. They can do things like fines, ect, but as long as they are active wrestlers they cannot flex their power. They even said they had to win a match or 2 to become number 1 contenders.

The Young Bucks are absolutely at their best as douchebag heels. I haven't really been paying close attention but what I have seen, I've liked. As nice as they seem to be IRL... it just doesn't work for them as faces in ring/on screen, IMO.

When my son and I met them at our first Dynamite in 2019 they were so genuinely nice - especially to my (at the time) 12 year old son. You’d have never guessed that they’d be at their absolute peak as god tier douchebags 😂

What I loved about that part in particular is because of how it was set up, the only way it could end was Sting no selling and clotheslining them both and whilst the people watching and in the crowd knew that, it happening got a bigger reaction because it actually happened if that makes sense.
I share the sentiment in the Bucks being the perfect last opponents for Sting and Darby because one of the things that brought them to the dance is being the biggest shitheads and making the crowd desperate for the good guys to beat them up so putting them in front of a crowd there to see Sting do just that and then doing the right moves to add to that reaction is a source for absolute magic that happened on Sunday.

It genuinely baffles me when people are still snide towards the Bucks at this point
If you don't like them, fair enough, but to still see people be snide towards them (And even me for respecting how they treated Sting, so fun by the way) is just off-putting
You'd think these men effected peoples lives on a personal level with the way they react towards them. I promise you the two dudes from Rancho Cucamonga California haven't ruined wrestling forever or made you divorce your family, you've just made it your scapegoat lmfao
