Another of my current weirdo faves is Unmatched. It's the ultimate board game version of kids on a playground imagining who would win in a fight between their favourite heroes, except it's taken to the most extreme absurdities. Like, have you ever wondered who would win if Nikola Tesla fought Bigfoot and his friend the Jackalope? Or who would win in a clash of fisticuffs between Bruce Lee and a T-Rex? Or how about if Buffy the Vampire Slayer, teamed up with The Invisible Man, and Sinbad the Sailor to stop Mothman from blowing up bridges? You can do that too. It's dumb, and it's amazing, and I love it. not a board game but I have a card game that's similar called Superfight. Each person draws a person/object/whatever card, and a super power, the person to your left places a weakness on your character and the judge chooses who would win in a fight. (there are also expansions for adding locations or events as well) One of my favorite power cards is "you are figuratively on fire ...also literally"
