After seeing this posted on X, I thought it was just perhaps us on FAN that felt this way. It's been one month more or less since Rock injected himself into the Cody/Roman storyline. In your eyes, has Roman fallen off quite a bit, or is he still holding his own, getting Rock to acknowledge him to get some heat back for him. Some have even said he has fallen as far off as the 4th wheel in this storyline with Rock, Cody and Seth all jumping above him now with momentum on their side.

Everyone is second to the Rock because he just goes out there and takes as much time as he wants for his shit.

Yeah
And that's really what people were afraid of when The Rock came into this storyline
Instead of this becoming Roman vs The Rock it's morphed into The Rock vs Cody more then anything
The story that was supposed to be the biggest storyline of the past two years now feels secondary to Heel Hollywood Rock, and it's felt that way since he showed up.

I think if anything it's arguably turned into Seth vs. Rock because Seth also seems way more proactive in this story than Cody is.

Roman's big contribution to the promo last night was calling Seth a "Cross Dresser" too, which also... really wasn't great. It's not great that the guy who is your record breaking champion feels like the fourth wheel and when he finally says something it's the weakest line.

In storyline? Other way around, and it’s exciting.

Yeah. Roman doesn't feel important at all right now.

No. If you think he has you have to explain how the Rock acknowledging Roman as his the tribal Chief was overshadowing Roman.

No. If you think he has you have to explain how the Rock acknowledging Roman as his the tribal Chief was overshadowing Roman. Remember when Jey Uso finally acknowledged Roman? And then Jey was about to give his catchphrase, but instead looked contemplatively at his young cousin, and gave him the mic. Roman took it with a "golly gee, really?" look on his face and then said, "YEET!" to the adoration of the crowd. Great moment, that was, really made Roman feel like the man.

No. If you think he has you have to explain how the Rock acknowledging Roman as his the tribal Chief was overshadowing Roman. Sure, there was that moment, but even then Roman has otherwise stood off to the side completely acting as Rock's little buddy who barely talks and doesn't do anything, Seth and Cody are both entirely fixated on talking about Rock, Rock's still the one making all of the decisions for the group and throwing his weight around as a member of the board, and Roman's own established character has completely given way to instead just hollowly parroting Rock's catchphrases after him. I don't think it's the intent for Roman to be secondary to the Rock, more a byproduct of how the dude can't keep to a time schedule and keeps gobbling up everyone else's screentime as his own which consequently means he's the only one making any points for Seth and Cody to respond to, but it is certainly happening. Rock acknowledging Roman as his Tribal Chief came off a lot less like bending the knee to him and more like, "Yeah, sure you are, champ!" because Rock isn't acting the part otherwise.

Intentional or not, good idea or not, the second The Rock was out there now with Roman and how immediately clear the gulf in their star power is should have put any "Roman on the Mount Rushmore"/"Is Roman one of the greatest ever?" questions to bed forever.

No. If you think he has you have to explain how the Rock acknowledging Roman as his the tribal Chief was overshadowing Roman. The Rock may have said the words, but tonight actions spoke louder. The rest of the bloodline enter with their Tribal Chief. Rock still comes out solo and his entrance is just as long as Roman's if not longer. Roman opens with Acknowledge "us". That could be seen as a sign of respect for the Rock, but he's never extended that respect to anyone else in the bloodline, including Solo, his chosen successor. He then spent most of the promo just cheering on the Rock and looking happy to be there in the Rock's presence.
I'd say calling Roman secondary to the Rock right now is being generous.

Yes,
if it's not intentional they're still downplaying their Wrestlemania main event storyline that has been building for 4 god damned years, and need to tell Rock to knock it off.
and if it's intentional it's even stupider. That they're downplaying their Wrestlemania main event storyline that has been building for 4 god damned years,

Yes Roman Reigns has become secondary to the Rock. But for me that's ok because I was getting a little burnt out on Reigns' reign and this adds an interesting angle.

Everyone is secondary to the Rock though. Rock is on an unreachable level of stardom and everyone is secondary next to him. I don't even think he's trying to do that. It's why getting him involved before Roman/Cody is finished was a bad idea.
