yet another key player the Bills lost in the offseason Both Josh Allen and Justin Herbert have to be looking around wondering what the hell is happening.

Diggs may be declining, but that's still a complete fleecing. Holy Hell

I don’t know. We’re talking about a 30 yr old receiver who clearly was on the decline recently and has a history of being petulant and disruptive if he isn’t made the special belle of the ball. Considering that Nico Collins and Tank Dell are rightfully going to get their targets, Diggs will quickly tire of settling for their scraps. It doesn’t hurt them in the long term tho. It’s a gamble they are taking they hoping pays off but they are trying to take advantage of CJ being on a rookie deal while they can

The Bills went all in and now they have to dismantle due to the consequences of doing that, they also have nothing to show for it.
The Texas are the latest team going all in, can they overcome Mahomes and have something to show for it?

Those leases run for 7 more years, if the Chiefs "move" it's probably to the Kansas side of Kansas City. This overall is the typical dramatics when teams want stadiums.

The Hunt family is worth almost 25 billion dollars. Good on the voters in KC telling them to stuff it

I……….what? Did they decide upon actually meeting Diggs for the first time that they did not want to be forced to employ him for more than one season?

He might need to prove he's still an all star receiver worthy of that deal so they don't get trapped. Then what was the point? They gave up a 2nd, which could have been used on a WR who could be around for a while. Instead, they get a petulant diva who, if he actually balls out, is now free to bugger off at the end of the season. Btw, Diggs paid $100K from a player who was already on the roster to let him wear his uniform number. Strangely, Alex Bachman, the WR who’s been in the league since 2019 and has only been on a game day roster once, was not paid for the right to wear #14, Diggs number since his days as a Viking. Instead, that money went to a player who’d earned considerably more during his career, Jimmie Ward. Digg’s new number? It will be the ideal number for a diva, #1.

It's not all that different than when the Patriots acquired Randy Moss in 2007. Moss had two years remaining on his contract with the Raiders, but once he got to New England, he agreed to a new, incentive-laden one-year contract to replace his old one. The thought process at the time was that if Moss was the same old Randy that was in Oakland, the Patriots could cut ties with him at the end of 2007 and all they'd sacrifice was a draft pick. But if he played to the level he was capable of, the team would be better and they'd have roughly 365 days to sell him on staying in New England. The same is playing out in Houston. If Diggs struggles, they cut ties and all it costs the Texans is a draft pick. But if he succeeds, they can sell him on catching passes from CJ Stroud, playing alongside Nico Collins and Tank Dell, and a new winning culture in Houston.

Here’s the thing: I don’t think playing alongside Collins and Dell is a selling point for Diggs. The team was winning during his late season fade and his whining and cryptic tweets only increased. He wasn’t the primary focus and it ATE at him, actually winning be damned.

Diggs will be a 32 year old WR after his season with Buffalo, I wouldn’t throw him a bag either

Diggs will be a 32 year old WR after his season with Buffalo, I wouldn’t throw him a bag either No, but the team could simply cut him if they had an issue with him since the guaranteed money on the contract came from Buffalo. Instead, if he is worth keeping around they either have to pay him again or at least use the non-exclusive tag on him.

I don't think they're sweating if they have just a year of Diggs, their WR Pool is young and deep in Houston right now if it stays healthy
