The more I see Arron as of late, the more I go "This is your ace New York?" The dude looked washed up 2 years ago in his last year with Green Bay, now I'm expected to think he's going to somehow turn back the clock after a season ending injury at his age? Rodgers just not caring is only giving me more red flags to wave. He ain't him. The Jets are franchise that to me are on the same tier as Arizona or Atlanta and just a tier above the Browns, but people give them a free pass because they are a top market team. I don't understand the talking heads thinking the Jets are a Super Bowl contender and believing they are getting prime Rodgers back somehow. I said 2 years ago that they are a QB away from being something and now I can say they are still a QB away from being something. They got pieces but not enough to make a picture. Until they prove me wrong, I can't take them seriously as a legit contender at this point in time. |

The new onside kick rules are official.
No onside kicks before the 4th quarter.
A team has to be trailing in order to attempt an onside kick.
All onside kicks must be announced in advance.
Abject stupidity by the No Fun League.

NFL going to be using HawkEye in the pre-season. I've never understood why a business with such gaudy profits hasn't tried better tech for 1st down/touchdown measurements.

The new kickoff rules are interesting. It will take some time to get used to, but it’s not as jarring as I assumed it would be. I mean the worst it can do is make it exactly the same as the old kickoff where basically nothing ever happens because of previous rule changes, at least with this there's a bit of a scrum and there's a chance someone breaks free and takes it for a big gain or to the house imo Didn't get a great look at it in this first game because of the game being shortened and guys being eaten up by the turf monster multiple times the second they caught the damn thing lol |

The Niners still haven’t figured out Trent Williams or Brandon Aiyuk.
And they have a massive Purdy extension after this season.
I can’t wait to lose to the Chiefs again, and then the team implodes under the cap.
