Patriots have traded disgruntled LB Matthew Judon to the Falcons for a 3rd Round pick.
That's about as good as I thought they could get.
It's too bad though. I always liked him but I understand why the Pats don't want to extend him. It's best for both parties to move on.

I'm surprised they got a 3rd when you consider he's 32 and coming off missing basically all of last season. |

But the deep pass to Scott would’ve been a TDl if not for the PI. After that, it was showtime. |

So far it looks like the Colts bench players are better than the bench of the Cardinals, but that isn’t entirely surprising.
Soon as I say that the Cardinals figure out why Davis was signed and why his absence is an issue. Eric Johnson can’t stop the run, which is an issue for a NT.

Edit: wait, he’s been decent this preseason but WR5 and WR6 have to play ST, which I doubt he will.

Wilson looks even more washed up than last year; he'll complete a lot of passes but they're for like 5-6 yards and he doesn't have the escapability to make big plays down the field any more. At least with Fields you have the threat of the run. |
