I checked out the box score. Outside of Frank Gore Jr., I figure it’s been awful to watch. Wilson gaining 5.9 ypc while taking 3 sacks sounds like some riveting QB1 play against backups. Wilson looks even more washed up than last year; he'll complete a lot of passes but they're for like 5-6 yards and he doesn't have the escapability to make big plays down the field any more. At least with Fields you have the threat of the run. I think it's only a matter of time before Fields starts. I think Russ gets like 5 games minimum to prove he still has something Will Fields be any better? Idk, but Seattle are looking like geniuses for trading Wilson when they did. |

So after two pre season games i'm still wondering what the eagles saw in Kenny Pickett. He's at the moment the backup to Jalen Hurts and I don't have confidence he'd be of any help if hurts had to miss time this season.

So after two pre season games i'm still wondering what the eagles saw in Kenny Pickett. He's at the moment the backup to Jalen Hurts and I don't have confidence he'd be of any help if hurts had to miss time this season. If I’m the Eagles I’d see what Chris Ballard wants for Sam Ehlinger. He’d be a decent enough backup, already knows the system the Eagles use, and Ballard has the problem that they likely want to keep Jason Bean as a development QB but after the preseason he has had so far it would be risky to try to sneak him onto the practice squad. That means either having 4 roster QBs or moving on from someone. |

WTF is going on here? The guy plays once, then you hold him out? For what?
The only reason you would do this is so he won't get hurt because you are going to start him. Which would make Arthur 'Snidely Whiplash' Blank really question why you spent 100m guaranteed of his money on Cousins.

Vikings fan here... my gut is telling me we got one more "yup this franchise is cursed" thing left before the season kicks off. Jon Bois is just waiting until there's more material to compile for extra chapters in the Mariners, Falcons and Vikings failure to capture the big one. And considering I'm a fan of two of those teams... fair f***s to him. |
