What losing to the Panthers does to ya From a historical standpoint, Dennis Allen will be remembered as one of the worst head coaches in NFL history. Among coaches with 6+ seasons of head coaching experience, only three (Harland Svare, Marion Campbell, Bert Bell) have a worse winning percentage.

Dennis Allen has to be the most boring, uninspiring, milquetoast, forgettable coach I can think of.
He's like the base CAW of coaches.

Jerry Jones frantically trying to get his contact info as we speak I've been thinking about who Jerry would go for. I figure it'll be someone who has had some success in the league, but has been out of a job for awhile so he'd be happy to get another job so he won't threaten Jerry in any way. I'm going with John Fox.

i don't think he's the worst coach ever but i have no idea how he lasted this long after Jameis and the rest of the Saints last season decided "f*** this guy lets get Williams a TD in the victory formation".

Good lord, what a season from hell.
I'd almost feel sorry for Jerry if he weren't Jerry.

I know a lot of folks are having fun watching it but I can tell you me and a lot of other Cowboys fans are watching this like Jerry and his nepobaby son deserve this humbling. Doubt that stubborn old man will change anything, but we’ll be going down with the ship screaming “I told you so!”

Didn't Cooper Rush actually look pretty decent the last time he had to fill in for Dak for a long-term injury? Granted they had a much better team around him the last time it happened.
At the very least they'll probably win against the Giants!

At the very least they'll probably win against the Giants! He's really not bad but limited with the long ball. I think Dak is an obviously better player where you'll get more offensive explosions but with how sauceless/lifeless this team has been, it may be a short term blessing. I'll say this much with having Ceedee Lamb in Fantasy, I'm not expecting any difference between the two QBs. Maybe this will get them finally use Dowdle and run the damn ball already.

Like, what?

At the very least they'll probably win against the Giants! Good enough that there were folks in the fanbase unironically suggesting he be the guy over Dak even when he was healthy. Don’t know if I would’ve gone that far but yeah he went on a small run that season. I know a lot of folks are having fun watching it but I can tell you me and a lot of other Cowboys fans are watching this like Jerry and his nepobaby son deserve this humbling. Doubt that stubborn old man will change anything, but we’ll be going down with the ship screaming “I told you so!” He legit went into the season thinking broken down-ass Zeke and Rico Dowdle were gonna be okay. Like, what? Pure ego. Nothing more, nothing less. He knows better than everybody else and that’s that.
