- Starks is outta there. He's absolutely WWE bound. - MJF, man I don't know about him. I think he'll end up being wherever Darby is right now. Sure, he'll get the spotlight but with all these other stars, yeah, I don't know what'll happen with him. Lost in the shuffle indeed. - Miro is gonna be outta there. With that divorce stuff, yeah... - Keith Lee will be lost in the shuffle sadly. - Sammy is a special case. Just when I say he's lost in the shuffle they always give him something but he for sure ain't getting higher than he was during that Four Pillar title match. He's a utility main eventer, mostly upper midcarder. - Jack Perry will get a spotlight on him when he returns but then he'll be pushed into that midcarder role he was in before. Like, a lot of these dudes are at the level where they'll probably be at for the rest of their AEW career. It ain't their fault but when you got all these other wrestlers who are better, when you've seen that Tony ain't really promoting people to a higher level at times, it is what it is. Starks does probably do better in WWE, which sucks because I like him and almost never watch WWE. But there should be more opportunity there.

I like Starks but he just doesn't have it. He's been given plenty of opportunities to showcase himself but I feel like he has hit his ceiling. I don't know if going to WWE is going to change that.

His biggest issue is several times he's got over big for a short period, seemed ready to step-up and either had an underwhelming match, fued or did a particularly shit promo and fell back down again. I think the scripted nature of wwe promos and less emphasis on in-ring means he might do better there. Segments as bad as those with Jericho shouldn't happen and being on tv every week without those should make it easier to keep momentum. But in aew with more freedom and less of a safety net I don't think he'll put it all together without essentially self sabotaging.

I keep forgetting that Ricky Starks is still with the company, which is a shame because I enjoyed his babyface work.

I do think WWE is a better fit for Starks. He seems more suited to that environment and style than the AEW. He'll just have to be careful in WWE that he doesn't get pushed into a Rock-lite role.

Where the hell is Danhousen?! For someone as popular as he is, you'd think he'd be used some type of way on TV. I don't know if he would actually fare better in WWE but he's been under utilized. Abadon actually got used on TV a bit at the end of last year but then They've been moved back to ROH

I think Ricky has gotten a ton of opportunities in AEW in a ton of different roles. The crowds like him but I also don't think he's ever shown me that he should get more of a push. And that's fine - not everyone can be the face of the company. Compare that to Swerve who I think has stepped up with every chance he's received.
He can try to see how things play out in WWE. He may do better but I don't think it's a guarantee. He's been a featured player on weekly TV since joining AEW. WWE has a top heavy roster right now and size still matters there (even under Triple H). Ricky's not small but he's also not that big. He can stand out with promos but that also requires him to get the right storylines and opportunities. It might work but it's a gamble.

I thought he came back at one point (and then there was that non story about him allegedly selling bootleg AEW merch that turned out to not be true)

Like do I see him getting pushed? Maybe, but it feels like every title belt is in a chokehold in terms of him getting one beyond NXT. Along with the prospects coming up, I don't really see how he can break in and get a belt in the current landscape or be in a better position than AEW has tried to put him in time and again. But I'd love to be proven wrong.

You don't have to be able to keep up with the likes of Omega, Okada, and Ospreay to make it in WWE. The bar is _astronomically_ high in AEW right now, if you want to be a top-tier player.

But in aew with more freedom and less of a safety net I don't think he'll put it all together without essentially self sabotaging. I don't think he's fallen down at all. He ran with his title chance in late 2022 against MJF, held his own/was probably even the better man on the mic against him, and had a great match with him. Then the Jericho web absolutely ruined his momentum (which happens with everyone who feuds with Jericho) then he got in a nowhere feud with Jay White (which also happens with just about everyone involved with Jay White in the last 3 years). He then consistently held his own with both Punk and Danielson both in the ring/on the mic, and ran well with Big Bill. Then they just barely did anything with those two as tag champs and he now is doing nothing again. It's not a case of him "dropping the ball" it's a case of them not trying with him. Just hell, look at the post Jericho feud stuff. Jericho lost the match/feud I guess but then got a feud/match against Adam Cole at Double or Nothing while Ricky was in a random battle royal. At Forbidden Door, nothing for Ricky and a Sting match for Jericho. At All In, nothing for Ricky and an Ospreay match for Jericho. Like this isn't a Ricky problem, it's a horrible following up on feud wins problem that they've sort of fixed in some facets but they haven't all the way fixed.

The Dark Order. It kept looking like they were gonna be rebooted (twice) to launch them into a new version, but then nothing happens. Especially with all that talent that John Silver has. It's like TK doesn't know what to do, so he does nothing for them.

Starks more than likely, we are a long way from his short feud with MJF. Although I do enjoy him teaming with big bill at the same time.
Looks like Hobbs and Wardlow are already there for me, big resets for both only to end up back where they were prior.
I think MJF will be fine, he’ll be tied-up getting revenge for a good portion of the year before re-entering the title picture anyway.

With Danhausen his moaning on social media about not being used & his constant defending CM Punk is likely why he's literally not being used. Moaning on social media will not help you at all
Brian Cage learnt that as soon as he & his wife stopped moaning on social media about not being pushed, that he actually started getting used on TV a lot more.
