Cole getting emotional at the end and saying "I love pro wrestling" (or some variation of that) was a very telling moment. They are definitely changing things up with this new era of WWE. Good move. "Sports Entertainment" sounds ridiculous even for the fictional world of wrestling. Glad they took Vince's BS and rightfully got rid of it.

I'm sure he's miserable in the sense of the lawsuit and the ramifications of, but "Pro Wrestling" is the least of his worries.

I don’t think he’s gonna be a shareholder much longer. He’s already sold off something like 70% of his stock, including 2 big sales announced today. I would be very surprised if he hasn’t sold it all off by the end of the year

i don't think it matters to him in any extent that the possibility of prison does but his entire life has been based upon getting irrationally angry when things don't go exactly as he wants it. he would go out of his way to make his own shows worse because he demanded things go to his very specific ways for decades. now the company is in as good of a spot as they've ever been by changing everything he was so adamant about, he IS that petty to have it be something that bothers him more than "normal" people. that is vince's whole thing, going insane over the smallest of shit in comparison.

as someone who has seen the second building I ever lived in split into three sepprate buildings (it was a pub.), the third building in the process of being demolished (also a pub.), the first factory job building demolished with housing replacing it, the school and college buildings I went to being demolished, and several other places of work being replaced by new companies taking over the either defunct business or replacing them there is an uneasy feeling seeing large parts of your life being erased in that way, and wwe/tko are in the process of erasing or minimising vince's contributions to the company.

but that's coming from a relatively normal and some what sane human brain, given just how insane we've found out vince is he probably thinks wwe/tko going out of their way to publicly distance themselves from anything he's done is a badge of honour or something to be proud of/brag about.
