AJ mentioned it during a meeting with Abema, but he mentioned he is more excited to see IYO wrestle than anything else this weekend. Said he was bummed though that he can't watch it though since his NOAH match is at the same time.

Something I found interesting and no doubt it is me reading too much into it but in Kayfabe when Iyo walks off it almost feels like IYO is letting Utami bask in her emotions by letting her have the spotlight because IYO is all business she isn't fawning over the moment as Utami hangs back a little longer to keep posing. I can see it playing a part in the match where IYO tries to attack those emotions in sort of the same way she did to Mayu.

Freelancers holding a title isn’t exactly rare in non-Stardom promotions and in this case kinda makes sense, although I do think Giulia is winning. I don’t think Stardom/Rossy will play politics with Sareee. She’s the top freelancer and her openly talking about wrestling Mayu again (she rarely mentions anyone she doesn’t intend to wrestle) is kinda clear both sides will play nice if it doesn’t impact booking. Rossy also said he’s announcing a big match tonight. Speculation is Kairi >> |
