It's so disappointing to me that Megan Bayne seems to be stuck in some sort of contract hell where she cant be here, but also isnt being used by/signed by AEW and also isnt getting NXT buzz.

Her situation is so weird that no one knows what the f*** is going on or there is something else going on that no one wants to say.

She had as much momentum coming out of STARDOM as Mariah May did but feels the longer this situation keeps drawing out the more all that stock she built is unfortunately going to end up meaning little to nothing and that is sad considering how much she had grown through her experience in STARDOM.

Because while IYO won....that moment of her stumbling in pain on the way back to the lockeroom hugely put over Utami because while IYO was really good at masking the pain Utami really really hurt her and shows how close Utami really was at beating her idol but also IYO's selling which no doubt a combination of legit and kayfabe is so chefs kiss there are few who get it that level like she does and you could count all those people on one hand.

I do wonder about that. I know that WWE may be handicapped in what level they're allowed to promote something like this onscreen given their television partners and how keen they are on promoting something they do not have any stake or control in, but they probably could have still done more, particularly online, where their hands are probably considerably less tied.

The NOAH one particularly puzzles me considering ABEMA are basically their TV partner in Japan so WWE not even so much as mentioning it on their social media like you said is strange to me.

Like even if something prevented them from fully promoting it there are ways around it....like just saying "Two of our biggest stars Styles and IYO will be in Japan ahead of our upcoming tour for something very special and encourage everyone to check out social media for more info" like anything that would have sent WWE fans to be atleast curious if nothing else and they would not have to mention NOAH or MariGold by name.

But the funny thing IYO is always retweeting the Abema feed of WWE on her Twitter and Insta so it clearly had to be a choice on WWE's end for whatever reason.

I wonder if, with this having done well, it will make WWE more likely to openly support it, like if there was any amount of "what if we make a big deal out of this and only like 400 people buy it and it looks embarrassing?" Now, though, there's at least precedent that there is an interest, if that played any part in their tepid support.

I get that they were promoting Summerslam lately, obviously, but they can still do both, especially on social media, so, get with it, WWE, if you want people to think you are down to partner up.
