Super Mario World for me, played it shortly before my fifth birthday then got a SNES and a copy of the version of All-Stars with it included when that rolled around.

Super Mario Bros. 3
I don't think it was the first, but it's the one I remember. The reason being I was under the impression that the first world was the entire game, the "Help!" was coming from Princess Toadstool, from whom I was aware because of the TV show. The Hammer Bros. outside the castle was actually Toadstool's horse who was pacing with concern.
Needless to say, I didn't get very far that day, but when I got the game a couple years later, I was impressed with how deep it was, as the first time I had played it was at a friend's house on my own for about an hour.

Had to be either Super Mario Bros. or Duck Hunt
My dad built my aunt a shed, and was paid in part with an NES set with Mario/Duck Hunt.
I must have been 3 or 4 (born in 86), so I don't actually remember it

Why do you have to date me like this? Answer Mario Bros on NES, though I had a Commendore 64 first, just don't remember what games I had for it anymore. Think I had an Indiana Jones and a Rambo game on there.

Honestly I think it was the Return of the Jedi arcade game, I have super vauge memories of it as a little kid. Console wise I guess it was Super Mario Bro.

It was Space Invaders or Astroids. Just got vague memories of me being 5issh and standing on a chair. Playing the arcade machine and an older cousin putting quarters into the machine for me.
Home console COMBAT.

Probably a crappy lcd game, maybe Berzerk, combat or pacman on my Dad's atari 2600.
Super Mario bros was the first I properly got into.

It would have been some Atari game. We got a NES in 88 or 89 I think when I would have been 5 or 6, but we had an Atari before that, so I must have played something on that.

Either Mario Tennis on my dad's old Famicon (or Famicon-esque pirate console) or Tetris. Can't remember which tbh.

Donkey Kong on the Colecovision.
I'm so old, I probably shouldn't be here anymore (even though I'm pretty sure there are a few people here even older than I am).

I think I'll have most of you beat...
I'm almost certain we got one of the Pong consoles first.
