I was surprised how much hate Demolition Man gets in GTA Vice City. I rack up the “people wasted by others” stats with the chopper blades, then blow the building up with about 3 minutes to spare. And some people put it on par with San Andreas’ Supply Lines mission. The easiest way to do that mission is to work top to bottom, since the top floors can be difficult to navigate when you're racing the clock, but do it the opposite way and it's incredibly easy. I just go in and kill everyone with the chopper blades before starting the clock, so I don’t have any resistance.

I'm ok with the poisonous swamp in "Dark Souls 3" and with most of the poisonous areas in "Elden Ring". Even the Lake of Rot isn’t that bad. It’s easy to get ambushed ganked by basilisks though. Actually, that goes double for Farron Keep in DS3.

I think a lot of people found the sidequests and stuff in Dragon Age Inquisition tedious, with especially "get out of the Hinterlands ASAP" being common advice, but I enjoyed just sort of zenning out and doing them. I came here to say this. I did almost all of the side quests. I was very immersed in that game world and the characters so I found it a very easy way to pass the time. The feeling of clearing an entire map was quite satisfying for me as well.

Final fantasy 7 Rebirth has a great action RPG buried under a horrible mini game collection. Edit: completely misread the thread title as if I was asked about genuinely bad parts of games I otherwise love. Honestly, if I replay it again it’s QB, monster challenges, and whatever it takes to max out the Tifa relationship. The rest suck.

Supply Lines in GTA San Andreas. Yeah, I had issues with it when I was younger, but I've played it so many times, I can usually beat it on my first or second attempt. On the topic of San Andreas, the flight school. Maybe not the funnest portion of the game but I’ve seen many people say they completely quit at that part. Didn’t think it was that difficult or bad. I think the flight school bits helped matters with the controls for the plane in "Supply Lines." After that, the mission got easier.

Another one: Chronicles of the Sword in Soulcalibur 3 was objectively a mess with a nonsensical storyline and difficulty that out of nowhere jumped from way too easy to every enemy is Jinpachi level, with no in-between.
I still loved playing the shit out of it.

I still loved playing the shit out of it. It was my favorite mode of that game, and one of my favorite parts of Soul Calibur I really wish they fixed it up and either made it it's own game or retried it. I got to the last level and then my save file glitched... cause there was apparently an error in the game coding that if you deleted something off your memory card to make space... it wouldn't properly read your save data or something.

He's only difficult if you're not good at side-stepping, which is something you really ought to learn if you wanna play Tekken.

Fishing isn't that hard in Stardew Valley, and can sometimes be a lot of fun. (Granted, legendary fish and the octopus are kind of obnoxious.)
It helps that update 1.6 gives you multiple ways to make it easier, along with golden treasure chests you can unlock that will make the rewards potentially much more lucrative.

I'm sorry, did people genuinely make the argument that fishing is hard? Aside from Legendaries, it's probably the easiest thing to do in the game, which is why I tend to do it a lot early game when you aren't making much from the farming itself yet, in order to rack up money and hopefully items from treasure chests.

Oh yeah, it's certainly not everybody, but a sizable portion of players dislike it, and there are a number of mods to change how it works to make it easier. I mean, it's not like I don't have stuff I dislike or have trouble with, so I don't judge. For example, I haven't successfully reached perfection yet on any of my many saves (which is a big reason I've never done it, granted, having a bunch of saves), and I have never raised any giant crops yet.

Inspired by a playthrough of Sonic Adventure 2. Playing through the Eggman mech stages and these are honestly my second favorite parts of the game. Yet everyone else seems to hate them. Your examples because I don't feel like making some wall of text?
The ones I see the most hate for in Sonic Adventure 2 are the Knuckles/Rouge hot and cold mini game where the radar is super vague and the positions are randomized so they could be anywhere. Funny thing is that I've found those stages piss easy once I learned the stage layouts and that the emeralds have a tendency to have common spawning areas(but not spawning spots). I can complete most stages in under 3 minutes with just one hint box and still get an A rank.
Mad Space still sucks, tho.
