Maybe he's grown since, who knows, but if he has he needs to come out and say so and I'm certainly not inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt on it. And contrary to other posts I've seen, no, the fact that his transphobia was relatively under the radar does not make it more palatable.

That's it, but it's also enough. It's probably reasonable to expect that someone who has posted a story like that has also said other stuff, but that's the extent of his public transgressions.

It's dumb and he should probably apologize at some point. That said, I don't think you'll see him rock the boat by bringing this up right now, which is unfortunate for a few reasons - one being that apologizing for a dumb trans post shouldn't be 'rocking the boat,' but that's kind of what it is these days.

Update: OG version of this post said "dumb trans joke" but I edited to "dumb trans post" because who knows what he meant.

Again, no one should hate on anyone for who they are, so he was way wrong for that no matter when it happened. But if you go back far enough, unfortunately, things like that were alot more acceptable than they should have been. Why I am asking is I am hoping it wasn't recent.
