Worth noting after this post happened, he didn't have another recorded match until August of that year So I can't say for sure but I imagine WWE was aware of it enough that he was taken off the radar for awhile, either that or a nondisclosed injury but the timing lines up. He got injured in a dark match on 205 Live around that time, and wasn't expecting to be back until the fall.
So just ironic timing then, it worked out regardless for him to fade out for awhile, but yeah if you saw the post it wasn't gonna be forgotten, it's a rough look for him. |

That was Quincy Elliott. Man, there are/were a lot of shitheads down in NXT. WWE’s developmental went from being full of DUIs and domestics to full of bigots, weirdos and creeps. And that's just the people who post in the NXT live threads. |

This sucks, because they had to waste a decent debut spot on this guy. Until he apologizes or admits he was wrong for that post, I'll be changing the channel.
Like, you could place Omos in that exact spot and it would've been fine. He seems like a decent guy off-camera as well. You couldn't have him turn babyface and do a few cool spots? I'm sure he'd be able to do a double sidewalk slam.
Omos seemed to have been improving, so not sure why they're keeping him off TV (must want to really want to book him as a "special attraction" versus an everyday guy, unless he's also on his way out the door).
For all the praise HHH received yesterday and this weekend, his willingness to ignore the off-camera actions of folks he's currently pushing can't be ignored. Unless there's some sort of internal discipline or fines that we don't know about --- which I highly, highly doubt --- it looks bad on both Haitch and the company. I'm honestly disappointed.

I don’t see Odyssey apologizing unless this gained traction anywhere else. It was just a few emojis right? Unless he made some JK Rowling/Elon Musk esque hate comments I don’t see this going anywhere. Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if nobody in the company was even aware of this At this point, it would take a lot more than an apology. It would take open and visible affirmative support. Donations, volunteer work, etc. |
