Fightful Select just posted that Odyssey wasn't at Raw last week either and Kofi/Xavier didn't mention him by name in their segment, inferring that something was up by that point. Fightful says that they were told on Sunday that his status with the company had changed but didn't get any clarification. He's not in their immediate creative plans going forward.
Something must have happened in that week or two he was on TV that we haven't heard anything else about yet. Seems like he's gone gone.

No. Something for a few weeks where like...brothers have it out and wrestle a match to settle their differences? I'd be ok with that, especially if it led to a Big E appearance. That's kind of where I thought this stuff was going but we'll see how they pivot. |

So I saw on Threads (thats IG's version of Twitter) that there's a rumor going around Odyssey Jones and Omos got into an altercation backstage that led to Odyssey getting fired.
Of course we have the other rumor that it's a storyline where Xavier wanted him gone because the implication was that he was replacing Big E. and it was grounds for the Woods turn.

I'm definitely on board with New Day breaking up - they've been stale as all hell for years and the act doesn't work without Big E - but Odyssey being part of it is definitely not welcome.
