Did they do the same thing with Rich Swann? He also had DV allegations, but I thought I remembered they announced his release instead of quietly nuking the guy from existence. He was released about a month after i believe, but his profile is in the alumni section on WWE's website, Odyssey's is completely gone I'm guessing that what Jones is accused of is a lot worse then.

x.com/AboutOdyssey/with_repliesThis account has been posting replies about him for a couple months now with serious allegations towards him, so if there's any hint of truth to them then oh f*** this guy for real.

Between this and Tristan Archer it's been a real abusey kind of day in wrestling apparently. Tristan Archer being the French guy in the Cruiserweight Classic back in 2016, for those who the name doesn’t bring anything to mind. The name brings to mind polo shirts with popped collars and Axe body spray.

I mean, didn't exactly work but...

Well, we knew it had to be something kinda massive so I guess I'm not fully surprised.

Jeez, he seemed like he had something when he first showed up, but between this and his transphobic tweet, good riddance.

Thanks for sharing. These didn’t seem to get any traction like for instance the Speaking Out allegations. But the fact that he’s absolutely nuked over a month later in spite of very few people hearing about this makes me think there’s some sort of legitimacy and officialdom that WWE got word of, like an investigation. Guys like Theory had pretty well publicized allegations and got taken off TV, but not totally scrubbed.

It's real easy for someone to create an anonymous Twitter account and make up all sorts of shit, so I normally take it with a huge grain of salt. But WWE wouldn't unceremoniously fire the guy and erase him from history if there wasn't some fire to that smoke.

Probably should update the title to clarify that his ass is gone.

Especially with the Vince story still pretty big I'd imagine the company is even more sensitive to removing anyone that's gotten allegations of abuse towards them. Whether it's because the accusations are particularly credible or the company doesn't consider Jones worth going out on a limb for, I don't know, but the firing would make sense either way.

For a guy named Odyssey, he didn’t even amount to a 3-mile walk.

I'm guessing there has to be ample evidence of things given they still keep people like McDonagh around.

They have Reed and Strowman as the talented big men, hell even Omas. Jones is not needed Especially Omos. The Omosapiens have been denied for too long.

Pardon the ignorance but are these new allegations or old ones resurfacing? Kind of unclear. The ones from the Twitter account are a couple of months old but we have little indication of what exactly motivated WWE to drop him.

I guess I should add when I say "new" I mean within the last year or two, not like the last week.
