Stop and Shop is closing the closest grocery to me that's in walking distance to me. There's a shop rite like a few blocks over but that ruins my walking flow that was going there. To be fair there are so few people there everytime I go I'm surprised its lasted this long.

You would think it could also be used as a price checker, which would be awesome actually. Instead it's just a large Roomba with a mascot built on top of it. |

I hate that thing. Always in the way when you're trying to get down aisles. And I've never actually seen it show up when there's actually a spill, either. Putting googly eyes on it was a brilliant marketing ploy by Stop & Shop to soften the edges around our new robot security task force. Because I regularly get blocked by Marty when I'm trying to shop, but then you pass him and see those big goofy eyeballs and kind of chuckle, rather than actually staying mad. |

My store has a robot. But it doesn't clean floors it does inventory. Badly.
