My favorite Batman movie. Sorry guys. I've gotta agree with King here. Burton's Batman films were saved by the actors involved. They're utterly overrated. You want over the top? I'll see your Riddler's hideout and raise you Penguin's army...of penguins!

Batman Forever > Penguins with rockets on their backs.

Okay...not as good as the first movie, better than the second and forth movie.
I really did love it when I was a kid...I still do, to tell the truth, and Nicole Kidman made me feel funny inside.

It's my favorite of the first 3, haven't seen anything after that. I'm a huge Kilmer fan though and felt he did the brooding side of Bruce Wayne perfectly.

I love it myself
Yeah it's a departure from the Burton films but it entertained me and that's all that matters really

Anyone think that one girlfriend of Two-Face looked a bit like Ariel? *watches that Ariel guy come-a-runnin'* If she took a pill that transformed her into an italian chick, then yeah ;D (The girlfriends, Sugar & Spice, were played by Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar, respectively )

Batman Returns came on last night.
I forgot how underrated that movie is. Hell Forever and Robin are remembered more.
The only true complaint about that flick is that Burton completely missed the point of the Penguin, but Devito did a good dark version.

It wasn't a bad movie but you can see the decline from Dark to Full on Camp.
It's Criminal what they did to Two Face & Riddler.

when i first saw it, in the cinema, and arkham asylum came up at the end ..... i clenched my fist in delight and also gave a YEAH!!! top moment in the franchise IMO also, i always get mixed up with nygma's boss (i didn't know it was ed begley jr who played him!!) and dr burton (who WAS played by rene aberjonois) ..... i thought he played BOTH characters!!! would never have recognised begley jr at all ..... same face as aberjonois ..... same voice as aberjonois .... same everything!!!! or maybe i just forgot about that love the film but HATED the batmobile with a passion .....and gave a little cheer when the riddler blew it's pathetic crappy brains out!!!! but LOVED the batplane ..... how cool was it to be hanging upside down ;D

Jim Carey was great as the Riddler. My favorite part of that movie was...just about any scene he was in.
I may have been a little disappointed with Mr. Jones's Two-Face since I heard that the original wanted to come back, but Tommy did a good job (even if the character was reduced to a Joker spin-off). The opening scene with the coin was good.
Now...time for me to be hated...Val Kilmer is my favorite Batman.

Now...time for me to be hated...Val Kilmer is my favorite Batman. He's my second fave behind Christian Bale so you won't be hated by everyone.

Now...time for me to be hated...Val Kilmer is my favorite Batman. I agree with you, he did a great job and was really looking forward to the next installment starring him. Too bad he didn't get along with Joel Schumacher to keep the role.

Val Kilmer was one of the things I liked about Batman Forever.
Deus will forgive me for saying so, I'm sure of it.

I think it's a great flick myself. Val Kilmer is awesome and Nicole Kidman is hot. Two-Face is my favourite Batvillian so any version on screen I mark out for and I kindda liked Tommy Lees take on it, The Riddler is fine I guess, never a fave of mine but Jim is fun to watch. And considering what went down in B&R Forever is practicaly dark even with all the neon. Oh, and U2 song that went with it is cool too.
