Well, 3 more points on the board. I'm not sure it was a fair result given how the game went - I feel a draw was fair - but I'll certainly take it. These are the sort of games we should be winning, so any way to get the points does the job. Puts us into the top half again thankfully, maybe we can push for those UEFA spots afterall. We have so much quality in the side but due to a lack of teamwork and a lack of a decent strategy we aren't making proper use. You're not kidding. If the score wasn't shown on the screen, you'd think Fulham was behind by 3 goals early on, as hard as they pushed to score on every attack sequence. It appeared as if NUFC just gave up halfway through the first half.

A disappointing result for Liverpool today. They were by far the most attacking team (even before the goal) but United defended strongly. But there is one thing that troubles me. Harry Kewell must have incriminating photos of someone high up in the Liverpool setup because he keeps getting games and is only sporadically good. He was God awful today.

Good performance by arsenal except for Fabregas' disgusting tackle on Ashley Cole and then selling a tap to the face like he had been punched.

I'm no fan of Ashley Cole either but rules are rules.

Emmanuel Eboue could be out for a few weeks after Joe Cole took him out today, and he might miss the start of the African Cup of Nations.

Big 3-2 win over Blackburn tonight in the Carling Cup, with only ten men and going into extra time. Our kids battled hard (in Denilson's case, too hard), and we dug it out against a rough and spirited team. That's the fourth time in five years we've made the semi finals with our stiffs now.

Well, you beat our rivals. Now you've just got to beat us, which shuoldn't be a problem. The most ridiculous thing ever happened yesterday. We appealed against Gudjonsson's red card on the grounds it was undeserved, seeing as Gudjonsson had his back to the PNE player and was unaware of fouling him, so it was not an intentional stomp so not a red card. We had video evidence that supported and all but proved this to be the case. What do the FA do? They say our appeal is frivulous, and rather than leave it be, they EXTEND THE BAN FROM 3 GAMES TO 4 GAMES. First time in football history that has happened, to the best of my knowledge. The laughable thing is that Joey, who accidentally fouled the guy, will now have a longer ban than McCann, who, though the incident should never have happened had the ref noticed the 2 blatant fouls on McCann seconds earlier, deliberately fouled the guy. The FA are f***ed up. Gudjonsson's first available game now will be against Arsenal. Lucky us.

The Gudjonsson case reminds me of Fagan from Derby County earlier this season, when he stamped on a Liverpool player and wasn't booked. The FA wanted to ban him for three games, Derby appealed against it, and they slapped an extra game on for denying the charge.

Gudjonsson's innocent, which makes all the difference.
