why cant he disagree with Arn, dont you guys ever disagree with your boss at work?I dont know why that should get you heat, you should be able to speak up if you dont like something about your job.I think some of these older wrestlers are stuck in a prehistoric era of wrestling, i hope they start bringing in some other road agents who are younger and more in touch.

Okay wrestling fan's we got it now, you have to believe us this time! Punk isn't in the doghouse because of Arn and Finlay disagreeing with him at December to Dismember, he's in the doghouse because he was making out with his girlfriend too much in Iraq...
No? No? Okay here's the scoop, he was caught making a poorly timed Steve Irwin joke.
No? Come on you gotta believe this one, he farted when he shook Vince McMahon's hand, come on guys WWE isn't treating CM Punk right! Get angry!

All I have to say is that if the higher-ups in WWE disliked Punk as much as these fake ass journalists try and lead us to believe, then he wouldn't have a job, period. Punk is nowhere near a big enough name for WWE to suffer a huge loss if they cut him now. He's consistantly on TV, which leads me to believe that if he were on the receiving end of a "de-push," he'd be going the way of Mike Knox or Sabu, who get no TV time and no wins.

Nope, he was the top star at the time. All the more reason for him not to throw a temper tantrum and stop in the middle of a 60-minute Iron Man Wrestlemania Main Event to repeatedly break character and complain and/or rude female at the camera guy and ref. He was also a guy that was in their TOP SPOT. They couldn't exactly rake him over the coals, because at the time there was a rival company that was more than capable of hiring a disgruntled WWF Champion. Wait, we have a Peppermint Bridge? Why wasn't I informed?!

You know what has happened when I've disagreed with my bosses? I've been 'let go', which is essentially being fired but they're nice enough to give a reference. I can't stop myself at times, and it's a weakness. People DO NOT like to be told that they're not doing their job right, especially by someone lower on the totem pole.

If WWE wants us to think the divas are single, stop putting that idiot Carlito on screen with everyone from Trish to Torrie

Just to say, seen as everyone is saying that the Maria/Punk making out in Iraq stuff doesn't matter i just thought i would throw out that Iraq is a Muslim country, so if they were making out excessivly in public, not just backstage, they could have been thinking that it was disrespectful to the culture and some such, which, to be honest, if they were really constantly necking, it probably is. This does make sense. But I thought they were just hanging out at bases filled with American troops, anyway?

The "single divas" thing is so stupid. Like someone said on the last page, are guys gonna think they actually have a chance with them? And Punk is the dirtsheet's new martyr. Everything that happens to him is subject to a conspiracy theory. Hunter and Shawn are holding him down. Vince is holding him down. The road agents are holding him down. I'm sure Hogan would be holding him down if he were anywhere near the product right now. I will say this. As a new guy to the company, if he is acting like his poo smells like Chanel, he gets what he deserves. Especially since I'm STILL waiting for him to do something amazing in the ring.

From what I've seen, Punk isn't so much an AJ Styles or Paul London 'oh wow look at that' guy, or one you'll see in a lot of opening video packages for the crazy spots he does. He's more like a Bret Hart. Really, really solid in the ring and on the microphone, and not very flashy, but still sticks out from the rest of the pack. He seems to excel in longer matches where he can work over one part of the body in inventive ways. He appeals to me because I love scientific, mat-based wrestling, but he's not the saviour of wrestling as a whole. He's just really good at one aspect of it. His hype amongst fans has really hurt more than helped him, I think, because when he made his debut a lot of people were left with a 'what ... that's it?' feeling.

Punk is overrated but he's the best thing ECW has right now. If he's acting like a douche then he should wise up real fast otherwise he'll be depushed and a lot of people will stop watching ECW.
My question is why do they give Punk so much grief for being an "indie darling" while they pushed that head case Lesnar right out of the chute when it was kind of obvious what was going to happen?

Crazy Conspiracy theory time:
We are being worked. This is to set up for Punk going to RAW and complaining to someone like Shawn Michaels about being held back. Michaels (or whoever) will tell him that he hasn't payed his dues, they argue and fight or whatever, and a feud breaks out. Punk would be in the heel role, but some in the crowd will be on his side.

I don't know about that. I didn't see Survivor Series, but if Punk really got the huge pops that people say he did, I think he will eventually get his push. The WWE isn't THAT stupid. The bottom line for them is to make money, and if people will pay to see Punk, he will be pushed.

At this rate it seems the E are trying to blow their own brains out. I'm not saying Punk is the savior of ECW (like I mentioned earlier I think he's overrated), I'm just saying I think they'd bury him beyond recognition just to "teach him his place".

I do agree about the "conspiracy against Punk" b.S rumors, but as for seeing anything amazing from him, he doesn't do corkscrew moonsaults or flippity-floppity stuff, so odds are if you aren't into him now, there's a good chance you may never be.

Punk is pretty young though isn't he? If he's planning on staying with the company long enough, it's possible that both scenarios could happen.

Yeah, ok. Where the hell did some of this "news" come from, anyway (i.e. Punk mouthing off, etc.), that it's suddenly now completely true? There wasn't a peep about it a few weeks ago, but I guess it makes convenient story fodder now.
Punk's likely fine, and probably just had some disagreements with Arn and Finlay, who decided to "make him pay his dues a little", not totally push him off the face of the Earth or anything.
Still, even if the story were 100% true, then WWE can go to hell for this "pay your dues" crap. Yeah, Lesnar, Lashley, Khali, Cena, Orton, and all those other would be "next Rocks" or "next Hogans" REALLY had to put a lot of time in before main eventing, right?
