In regards to WWE wanting fans to think the divas are single: Are they on crack? (Maybe they should be tested by the Wellness Program.)
I hope that Punk and Maria's relationship does become public knowledge among the casual fans. That way we wouldn't have to sit through unfunny (and creepy) segments where Flair hits on Maria.

I didn't read the whole thread here, but I'll put in some cents.
I personally do believe that Punk has a bit of an ego. I mean, CM Punk honestly believes that Raven didn't make him during their feud, and feels he was a big star before then, which is complete and total bullshit. CM Punk may've been a bit popular, but he was pretty much a nobody in wrestling, just another face until Raven saw him and saw big things in him.
My thing with internet reports for believability is the use of past experience to help with the truth. Now, I don't know why Raven would lie about Punk thinking Raven didn't get him over, but I believe Raven on this one. So the fact that he won't listen to Arn Anderson and think he knows better is very plausible.
I think about the complaining about not going over Big Show after Show agreed to it probably got him a little hot, and that's not too unusual, but I think being such a newcomer to the company as a whole, it probably came off as him thinking he's hot shit.
But yeah, I don't think he's being depushed or anything. He had a great and competitive match with Elijah Burke on ECW on Sci Fi on won clean, so I don't think Punk is gonna be jobbed out anytime soon.

Even without feuding him, Raven made Punk. Watcdh Punk's promos, relate them to Raven's, Punk steals so many phrases from Raven, so many mannerisms, etc.

Punk will probably get through this in the end. Hell, Shawn Michaels was the biggest prick in WWF and he managed to succeed.

And I should put this in here.
CM Punk has talent coming out of every hole in his body. This guy blows his nose with talent, and craps talent. He's very good. I just wish he could be a little more humble, for his own sake anyway.

Humility isn't a trait that often gets rewarded in this business. But there's a difference between having an ego and being a jerk.

I don't think Punk copied Raven any more than I think Raven copied Jake Roberts. You could say he was influenced by Raven (which is probably true), but their in-ring styles and characters are completely different. The only real similarity their characters have is the counter-culture aspect. But a lot of wrestling characters are based off teen subcultures and lifestyles.

Also, when does copying begin and when does inspiration end? Remember Chris Benoit? He basically has the same moves as The Dynamite Kid. Do people say he stole the moves of Dynamite? No, they say he "tributed" Dynamite. The only way, I think, you can steal a move is to make yourself look better and others worse. I think Teddy Hart is the one associated with this.
