From the ages of 6 to roughly 10 few things I can remember excited me as much as getting home from school, or rushing to the store to find the new edition of WWF magazine. I don't know if it was the shiny laminate cover, or the headlines giving me a brief glimpse of what joys were to come to on the inside, but prior to the internets claim to fame as head of the rumor department, I felt like WWF magazine was my way "in".
The articles were always written in kayfabe, but gave us an insight to the lives of our favorite wrestlers.
Some of my favorites would have to be-
1995- A history of the Undertaker as a boy. The cover featured a picture of a younger Undertaker. On the inside pictures included a boy wearing the Undertakers signature hat and gloves, and writing things in what looked like a decripid school. The article was written pre- Kane, so any of the childhood history would be meaningless today, but it was the first time any of us saw a glimpse of the Undertakers past besides the mystery we were exposed to onscreen.
Yearly- January would always mean predictions from the crystal ball month, which has been highly gloified in previous wrestlecrap posts. Every year we'd get "rumors" from the crystal ball as to what the year might have in store. Maybe one or two would come true, but most rumors were so meaningless that they made Nostradmous' work look easy to decifer.
The Bite with Vic Venom- Oh yes, glorious Vince Russo ran this montly article chocked full of views that meant nothing to me at such a young age, and somewhat hidden rumors that almost broke kayfabe.
And of course, Bret Hart's kid Dallas wrote a monthly article at the end of every magazine. I forget what it was called, but it was colorful, and was fun to read from kid to kid. I slightly remember this article talking about family life, or life on the road, but then again my brain doesnt quite remember as much as it used to.
I'll leave the rest up to you guys. What were your favorite reads in this awesome magazine thats turned into the white trash version of Men's Health?

I loved the pictures and results from the PPV events. When I first started to get "back into" wrestling in 1992 my friend got the magazine and since our parents wouldn't order the PPV's, the WWE Magazine was the only place we could figure out ALL the PPV results (obviously the main event and title matches were covered on Superstars, Wrestling Challenge & Prime Time, but not all the undercard matches). We used to try and collect the older editions to see the results of past WWE PPV's. Of course, this all stopped once we started noticing the Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine in the grocery store which listed all the events and then when computers became a household item in the mid-late 90's and the 'Net posted instant results and instant backstage information.

I loved the results section. I would just stare at pictures forever. I too got into the Pro Wrestling illustrated thing, but it wasnt as fun as the WWF magazine.
The one with Adam Bomb on the cover is one of my most sought after issues. I have no recolection of what the article was about, but the cover was amazing.
I also remember going into a super market once and they had all kinds of back issues and my mother would only buy me 2 issues... stupid bi.. JUST KIDDING. Loves you Moms!

The Bite With Vic Venom was always my favorite. I remember one article he did called "Fried Brains and Thanks" which was probably the best article I ever read in a WWF/E magazine.

Didn't Vince Russo write both the Vic Venom and Informer articles?

For some reason I remember the break-up of High Energy, and the WWF Mag had a small article in the back about it titled "Low Energy" and how Owen and Koke just casually went their seperate ways. I remember laughing for days just for the title.

"And of course, Bret Hart's kid Dallas and Wrestlecrapper Stephanie Wiand wrote a monthly article at the end of every magazine."
Fixed; They traded months.
Also, I liked the Informer, HBK/Alundra Blayze answer love questions, but my favorite stuff was the "In The Line of Fire" interviews. The ones with Dustin Rhodes and Bulldog stand out as my favorite of the bunch.

Brainstorms - By Bobby Heenan
Two Sides To The Tale - by Janus (I think)
Scoop Sullivan (Just kidding)
My favorite cover would definitely have to have been the June 1990 issue with the Ultimate Warrior holding up both titles after his WM6 win.

I got them from around mid 1991 through some time in 1993 or 1994 (probably 94, I remember getting an issue with a little blurb comparing Man Mountain Rock to Mantaur...WRESTLECRAPAPALOOZA). Lot of fun back then.
Wish I could find any old ones so I could read some "Brain Storms"; I was too young to appreciate them back in the day.
Also, each issue back then usually ended with either an interesting or funny pic, with a little paragraph under it. One that stuck out to me was Sherri Martel having dinner wtih the Brooklyn Brawler, each on opposite sides of a table, with Alfred Hayes in the middle, but bound and gagged with a tablecloth, looking very concerned.

The Kamala interview in 93.
Well Slick did the talking for Kamala.
The highlight was at one point Kamala got scared cause the interviewer took out a pen or something and then Kamala threatened the interviewer with a spear(The old tribal weapon. not Edge's finisher).
Slick got Kamala to calm down.
It was to hype up the Wrestlemania 9 match with Bam Bam Bigelow. But that match was yanked which I guess was due to Hogan having the ending change.

I remember an article in WWF Magazine in 1989 about the Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels match on Superstars. They were both still tag team wrestlers then and I'm not joking, it ended with this line...
"Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels will meet again one day."
They didn't know just how right they were.

My favorite article is the Survivor Series 97 recap. The Screwjob in Kayfabe. I still have it. It made me believe that Hart had submitted to the Sharpshooter.
