I will say TNA. Even ROH, who don't have as much as TNA, look more professional then they do. I liked TNA back in the summer when it didn't really have a TV deal but since going to spike its been all downhill. Sure, there are some bright spots in TNA but most of the time it just looks rushed and disorganized. When theres 5 people at ringside, then they cut to the stage, then cut to the back, then cut back to the ring, its just annoying. The WWE(while not at it's best right now) is still the leading company, and is starting to put on consistantly better matches then TNA at this point(mostly on Smackdown), which used to be TNA's upper hand on the WWE. ROH has a very solid product and its slow build is a smart move for all concerned, Rome wasn't built in a day.

I'll say TNA. I like them but, for as much as they and their uber-fans claim to be a WWE alternative (or a wrestling company) they are nowhere near that. If anything they are WWE-Lite. Oh and I gotta say this, the worse thing about TNA and ROH are the fans who don't want to say anything else is good. Not all fans. I love ROH and DOUBLE DOUBLE E.

ROH is exactly what it claims to be. An alternative promotion with tighter, simpler storytelling and more focus on ring-based action.
WWE is all about the soap opera cheesiness and they make no bones about it.
TNA is stuck in an ugly spot in the middle, trying to have the best of both worlds and not doing all that well, yet saying how 'they ARE wrestling' and the like. So I suppose I'll go with them, because they're the only company promoting themselves as better than others. Aside from their respective fans, I don't really see WWE or ROH themselves (as a company) acting like this.
I'm not sure if this really comes out making sense, but that's how I feel.

WWE: I can't say its overrated since well people don't really praise it. Its more of we are waiting for the next big thing to hit the company.
TNA: All those fans ranting on youtube really make me not like the company. I like the actual matches better but the promos are terrible. Bring back the Hard 10 but change the rules.
ROH: I'll be fair, I've only seen like one or two live events in NJ and its ok. The small fanbase is pretty hardcore though. GL fan really likes hogging front seats btw.
My 3 favorite matches of all time involved a crapload of brawling (Kurt vs Shane KoTR 2001, Undertaker vs Triple H WMX7, Savage vs Warrior WM7). Sadly I have a bias for WWF/E since thats the promotion I watched mostly.
TNA at the moment is overrated since there isn't enough action really. Its just...talking and backstage brawls even I don't enjoy. Maybe its because I think Kurt Angle is a nutcase now.

He's been banned from all ROH shows on grounds of being a dickwad.

there is no "best" all of them have their high spots and low spots STFU COOL-HEADED RATIONAL PERSON WE DONT NEED YOUR KIND IN THIS DEBATE Yeah, gonna hit TNA on this one. RoH is what it is and while the WWE has been crap, no one really seems to think elsewise. I mean, you give away Styles/Angle on free TV with a short, dirty finish? Are you retarded?

As a side note, I don't have a problem with someone declaring that their favorite promotion is the best there is, for reasons A, B and C. I just don't like when they're obnoxious about it.
But really, that has less to do with the promotion itself and more to do with the fans that decide that some flag-waving is necessary.

ROH has the great wrestling and writing, TNA has those great guys on free tv and they have the almost laughable mellowdrama in their storylines. and WWE has great entertiners like Cena, Michaels, Umaga, etc etc etc

TNA, it's not even remotely as good as the WWE or ROH.

TNA easily.
The so-called alternative to WWE is revolving around former WWE stars (Christian and Angle), is more or less "run" by former WWE and WCW guys (Jarrett, Russo and Cornette), and there're more WWE has-been and/or leftovers (Rhino, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg). Not to mention the fact they hired virtually every wrestler with a bit of Starpower WWE had released.
If that isn't enough, throw in the cheap shots at the WWE, with HHH and McMahon impersonators, and the ridicolous VKM thing...
In-ring action can still be enjoyable at times, but the whole "we're better than WWE" thing stinks of sour grapes. And the overall feeling of the shows is still bush league to me if compared to WWE. Pretentious, but still bush league.
Instead of going for a more wrestling oriented product, TNA are trying to incorporate the SE side of the business, so the product is stuck in a limbo.
Having a six-sided ring, some good athletes capable of nice spots, a TV deal and a very vocal (annoying and sheepish) audience don't mean TNA's an alternative.
ROH is what it is: a wrestling oriented organization and hence provides a niche product. Elitist fans are annoying as hell, but I don't really care. There are sheeps and ubermarks everywhere. ROH is different, because they WANT to be different, and aren't a poor imitation of what they are "against".
WWE is WWE. It's a love-hate affair. But it's a matter of expectations and goals. WWE aren't out there to appeal to workrate junkies (no offense meant) or to provide A level witty comedy... They're far from being perfect, and maybe we overrate the "potential" of current WWE, but they're the best all-around SE/PW company.

I'm not sure what 'over-rated' is supposed to mean in this sense. Which company has the most people that say 'OMG IT'S THE GREATEST'? Because it would be WWE, due to the fact that they have more fans than the other two.

To be fair, all three are overrated in their own ways.
But it's WWE easily, and the reason is simple. It's the most hyped, the most talked about, and considered the "major league" of American pro wrestling. That being the case (and how much they disappoint lately), there's no way they CAN'T be the most overrated.
ROH might be a distant second considering how many people consider it the "true" end-all, be-all of pro wrestling. TNA is in last because even the most die-hard TNA fans haven't been able to deny the company's endless mistakes.
But once again, it's WWE. By a wide margin. Too many people consider it the "top" for it not to be.
