I really really want TNA to succeed, I don't watch WWE programing anymore just so I wont give the E my ratings, I dont buy their PPVs and wait till someone on youtube uploads them for me. TNA really dropped the ball last night. That show was godawful, the format sucked, it just sucked. This was a great chance to air a live show or even just show new wrestling and utilize all the great wrestlers they have. Personally I think if both promotions had the best bookers TNA has more potential then the E to put on a great show. It's painfully obvious now, as much as we put down the E they have their bright spots. When WWE is at their best they are unbeatable. The Royal Rumble wasnt the greatest PPV ever but it just reminded me how good the E can really be sometimes. I hate to be a negative nelly but TNA has no chance.

So a negative nelly wouldn't proclaim himself #1, and would be less enthusiastic in his e i, e is?
That's a punchline a couple years outta date I know, but it's still about fifteen years more current than the references I'll usually go for.

Edit: Second joke: Maybe a negative Nelly will proclaim "You know, I'm honestly not all that bird-like in nature. I might not only fly away."

" That over and over again with Tim Mcgraw was kinda a bad idea on both our parts in retrospect"
Rather than Reaganomics, I'd probably say something about "something economics, anyone anyone? --doo economics? anyone anyone?"

"Pimp Juice? Did I actually think people were gonna buy into that? It actually sounds kinda gross. Who were the ad wizards who came up with this one and then sold me on it?"

As someone who has never seen a TNA Pay-Per-View, yet has heard so much about them, this show really made me think a lot less of TNA. The best match they showed was Joe vs. Angle and that was just alright, nothing really special in my opinion.

No chance, after one bad show? Jeez, why not say WWE is gonna die since their return to SNME was bad?

I didn't think they had a chance to compete with them for some time now, but at least they had some good Impact tapings and great PPV's such as Destination X and Bound For Glory, but nowadays it's a like a smaller version of WWE, hardly the alternative they used to claim themselves to be.

Yeah. That's it exactly. Not to rag on Russo, but since his return to booking (actually, even before that) it seemed as though TNA was just WWE with more talented wrestlers. I'd rather watch Alex Shelley vs. Jay Lethal than Undertaker vs.... well, anyone, but TNA have ensured that a match between Shelley & Lethal would end in some sort of silly screwjob finish/ run-in nonsense. They've ruined what was once a great show with a real chance. Hopefully when the show gets a 2-hour slot we won't have the writers trying to cram everything they can into too small a space & the matches will run a bit longer & have genuine finishes. TNA was once exciting & innovative, but they tried to ape the biggest guys inthe marketplace. They want to attract WWE fans, that's the problem. Alot of TNA fans (myself included) are NOT WWE fans. Rather than trying to get the fans of a rival interested, why not try to keep the fans you have content? Alot of WCW fans ceased watching wrestling in 2001. Why? Because they couldn't stand the type of wrestling Vince McMahon promotes! There are alot of TNA fans who feel the same way, that's why they sought this alternative. Unfortunately, TNA became focussed on being another WWE rather than an original promotion.

That f***ing camera they used ruined it for me. You know, where'd they cut into a shot and it'd look just random and weird looking, like an independent movie. I don't know why, but it ruined the fun for me.
And that Angle/Joe match was god f***ing awful.

And that Angle/Joe match was god waxing awful. I thought it was more hard hitting & realistic than any match Angle had in his WWE career. To each his own, I suppose.

Eh, I'm more about the entertainment, not the realistic-ness of wrestling. If I liked realism, I'd watch UFC. I don't know, it was just...boring.
And still, f*** that weird camera shot.

That camera was damn annoying. I wouldn't have minded it as much if they didn't use it during random parts of the match.

(Although this, which came up when I searched for "grinds my gears", is probably funnier than my post.)
