I have to admit, despite being the person to start this thread, I wouldn't like to see Punk on Raw, I'd like to see him on Smackdown. It confuses me because one minute CM Punk is in the Doghouse (which I still doubt), and now he is in good graces again, and said to get a major push. It is ridiculous.

I have to admit, despite being the person to start this thread, I wouldn't like to see Punk on Raw, I'd like to see him on Smackdown. It confuses me because one minute CM Punk is in the Doghouse (which I still doubt), and now he is in good graces again, and said to get a major push. It is ridiculous. It plays off the paranoia of 'net fans. They will rush to whatever site that said that, boosting traffic and driving up ad sales revenue. In other words we're gullible pricks and CM Punk stories sale. |

A feud with Nitro would be awesome. Plus the Smackdown midcard scene is filled quite nicely, while Raw's could use some help, and Punk would be the man, and a good fit for Raw's midcard scene.
Hopefully after that, he could move on to bigger and better things. But for now, I can't wait til he starts this feud with Johnny Nitro.

Also, now that there's news that CM Punk is not going to be buried, is not going to be misused, and is actually being used well, can we please stop with the complaining from the crazy CM Punk fans that he's being held down, was being held down, or will be held down. If that happens, then all the CM Punk is overrated threads will stop because now he won't be viewed as this god who's not being treated like the second coming, and people won't think he's all that overrated. I think this is great news for the sanity of your's truely, and many other people on these fourms.

you get a big push(Punk)
you get moved to the A-Show and win their titles(Nitro and Melina)
get the World title(Edge)
Damn.. If I worked in WWE I'd walk up and pimp slap Vince and expect my undisputed title

I'm kinda mixed about this. I'd love to see Punk off of ECW, but Raw? I want Punk to go to Smackdown, where the wrestling is, not the ratings. actually Smackdown's been doing record numbers for CW on friday. also ECW on Sci-Fi and RAW are doing great on their stations. Punk really hasn't really lost his major push he's been getting since his debut. THe dude even gets to be in a marquee Wrestlemania match MITB |

Wasn't there something early on about Vince liking Punk? Heat with Finlay and Anderson, or the locker room, could still be possible...but if Vince thinks the guy can make money, then dammit, he'll make money! (See: Orton)
