Rey Mysterio Jr. has been advised by doctors not to return the ring due to the excessive knee damage he
has sustained. In terms of story line, WWE's web site put up a tidbit that he was re-injured by Umaga's vicious attack on Friday night, setting back his intended return.

I honestly don't care. I wouldn't miss the guy, and he was a rubbish world champion. He bores me. There are so many more interesting cruiserweights out there.

While I do not like the guy, I don't like to see anyone be forced out this way (if it does indeed force him out). If true, I hope he would listen to the doctors and stay away. He is young, has plenty of cash and a family to care for. Only bad could occur if he were to push it.

Rey takes a lot of heat for the world title storyline and run, but before he hurt his knees he was THE cruiserweight, an absolutely amazing talent. If this is legit, hopefully he'll retire, and maybe take a job with WWE as a cruiserweight trainer or agent or something.
