With the upcoming match with Batista getting us all seriously worried for the streak, was there any other time you guys thought that 'Taker's Mania streak was in danger?
I remember I did in 2001 with HHH.

Against Orton, but once i found out Orton needed shoulder surgery after Mania, that was it.
I also thought Kane would win in 98.

Against Orton.........I had a feelin it could happen, but really felt in my heart Taker would win.
Yeah, now that was posted that, that's why I knew Orton would lose, he needed shoulder surgery.

Agreed with Orton. It'd have made more sense from a "we desperately want to get this guy over" standpoint.

I was rooting for Orton, especially with the RKO out of the chokeslam. It was as close a match as I've ever seen.

Definitely with Orton. I thought the Legend Killer gimmick gave the match more suspense.

X8 against Ric Flair 21 against Randy Orton
those were the only two times I had any doubts. I was such a mark in 2002 I thought Flair had a chance. Lol @ me in 2002. I think THA UNDATAKAH will stay undefeated this year.

Wait...People seriously think Batista might break the streak?
No. Come on. Like WWE is going to give that honor to a guy who most likely will be retired in 2 - 3 years, considering his age and injury history. If anyone ever breaks the streak it'll be an up-and-comer who needs the rub.
That said, I did think Henry might take it last year, considering the monster push he was getting at the time. In the long term it's a good thing that didn't happen, but at the time it would have made sense.

I NEVER thought for a second that Orton would end his streak. The match alone was a push for Orton.
I have to say that I am a little worried that Batista is going to break the streak. But I have to believe that WWE wouldn't slap Taker in the face like that and take away his streak and give him ONE MORE RUN
Taker's streak should NEVER be broken. there's 364 other days in the year to put guys over

The only 2 I ever gave a shot were HHH and Flair. Don't ask why, because I don't even know, but I never thought for a second Orton was taking him down. Though I think I may have been rooting for him at the time.
HHH was still hot off of his feud with Austin and on a major roll. When he broke the sledgehammer over his head out of the last ride I though he had him. And there are at least a dozen times in the Flair match where I thought he was done. The Arn Anderson spot especially.

Now i was a teenage mark at WM9 and thought that giant gonzales would beat him. He would have only had a 2 wm streak before it ended. It is the only one he hasn't won by his own means. He did win it by dq

I thought HHH and maybe Orton. Had no doubts about the others at all, even Kane at WM14.
