I got this idea from the ProgressiveBoink forums...
I wanted to do a Wrestlecrap Forums Top 50 Wrestlers. To get involved, do the following...
1) Make a list of your OWN Top 25 Wrestlers of All Time IN ORDER OF YOUR PREFERENCE (1st being highest, 25th being lowest)
2) PM me the list.
3) I will assign each wrestler points depending on their placement in your list (I.E. 25th = 1 pt., 1st = 25 pts., etc.) SO MAKE SURE TO PUT THEM IN THE ORDER YOU WANT!
EDIT: NO TAG TEAMS! ONLY INDIVIDUAL WRESTLERS! I've gotten a few, and instead of trying to PM people back for it, I've just taken the points that the team would've gotten in their placement (I.E. #12 = 14 pts) and split it in half between the two separate members (#12 = 7 points per member).
4) The Deadline for your entry is this Sunday at Midnight EST.
5) I will be posting the results in the (W)rest of Wrestling section next week, so stay tuned.
Any ties in scores between wrestlers will be decided by the number of individual votes, so, for example, John Cena has 2 #1 votes to give him 50 points but Alex Wright has 5 #16 votes to also give him 50 points, Alex Wright will be placed above Cena.
Until then, let's make this a discussion thread on the best wrestlers in the world. I will name off a favorite, you give your opinion, and name another wrestler, so on and so forth.
Let's start with The Rock.

The Rock is one of my all time favorites. I think had he never left he could still be a top name in WWE today and as over as ever. Terribly under rated as a worker, as he had good matches at some point or another with nearly everyone he was in there with. An all time great to be sure.

Colt Cabana is my favorite indy wrestler, and it's amazing he's not already in TNA/WWE. Colt has charisma up a wazoo and has the talent to back it up. Cabana will be big star one day. Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar was one of the most talented individuals to step in the ring, and it's too bad that there's no true dedication to the sport from this man, because he was definitely a legend in the making.
Christopher Daniels
By the way guys, re-read the first post and make sure to send me your lists of your top 25 wrestlers...

Christopher Daniels is a very good promo man, has had a pretty good Fallen Angel gimmick, and is an amazing worker.
The Undertaker.

Ah Daniels is a good one. I don't know that he will ever regain the incredible greatness that his character was back in the earliest days of ROH, mostly because I don't think TNA is smart enough to let him. I mark hard for the BME. Even bigger question mark is why he never has held either the NWA or ROH championship. Maybe he's more in the Tommy Dreamer role? I hope he gets the belt someday, somewhere. He's up there in age and can still deliver when called upon every time.
The Briscoes

Briscos are decent but not my favorite they rely too much on high impact moves and they're gimmick aren't cool too me, although Brisco's feud with Joe was awesome.

I'll do two... (EDIT: or 3)
The Undertaker He's the phenom, the living legend, one of the few links left to wrestling's past. A consumate performer, he's always seemed to do his best, and has carried more than his fair share of matches. Always innovating, the old dog proved he had new tricks when he went toe-to-toe with Kurt Angle last year. I'm hoping he gets one more run.
The Briscoes I haven't seen much of these guys, but it took me one live showing to know that these guys have talent. These two have such an undeniable link together and seem to gel better than most wrestling brothers. I don't know if they'd ever make it to the big show, but I could see them fitting in very well.
Chris Hero Most of what I've seen has been through Youtube but, alongside Claudio, they make one of the most entertaining acts not seen on TV. Hero definitely has charisma, and his moveset is odd for a man of his size, but it adds to his character.
Goldust

Goldust one of my favorite gimmicks of all time along with Doink. As a heel he was awesome and looked like it was anytime to main event. He had the weird flamboyet charchter the hot valet ringside with him a really nice finisher, The Curtain Call. Just everything clicked. Unfortunate he could only reach the IC Title he was way better than that.
KENTA

KENTA is a future japanese legend. Why he wasn't the NOAH world champ instead of Marufuji puzzles me but thats debatable. I have a feeling he will hit it big if he comes to WWE or TNA. But i'm content with seeing him in ROH for now.
Ultimo Dragon

Ultimo Dragon should be considered more of a legend by the mass audience. There's no such thing as a bad Dragon match, even if he's in there with someone less skilled, he can, due to his pure awesomeness, pull out a golden match at the end. He's more than a legend, he's Ultimo Dragon! (I've also got his mask, so, YAY!)

Jushin Liger Liger, one of the first true international crossover stars in the modern era, several American wrestling fans know his name and image and rightfully so. While I haven't seen him lately and dont know if he's still good, he certainly had a huge role in influencing the future of the sport and a generation of performers entirely. Terry Funk

Terry Funk Hardcore legend, the guy has to be a machine. No human could go through as many years and as many matches that had such devastating results as Terry Funk did. The icon of giving back to the business, I have the utmost respect for any man who looks to better the business more than himself.
Mankind
By the way, guys, I need you to tell whoever you can about this, I want as much participation as I can possibly get (And I know for a fact that not everybody comes to this side of the forum) in this because I want this to be an official list, so if anybody feels like posting a link to this thread in their sig alongside whatever else, please do.

Mankind was a great wrestler with a great gimmick (especially in the initial stages ie his feud with Undertaker etc) and is best remembered for his sick bumps off the top of the hell in a cell. definitely a legend.

Mr. Perfect. Never has a nickname been so true for a wrestler like it was for Curt. He was one of those few guys that, no matter what stage it was in his career, he still performed amazingly, even up until his untimely death. I wish he hadn't freaked out on that plane and gotten released from the 'E, because I think he had more left in him than what was shown.

Samoa Joe is one of the most popular wrestlers in the world that isn't signed by WWE. He's huge in the independent circuit and grows more and more with the casual fans, he has a unique look that, though first received criticism, gets him attention so the people watch what he can do to understand him. He's one of the youngest wrestlers to have as many of the 5 star matches as he does and seems to genuinely love the business he's in.

Good work guys, barely one day and I already have 9 submissions for the list, keep 'em coming and tell your other friends on this forum. I wish I could post this in other parts of the forum but it's against the rules.
I'd comment about the last wrestler, but I don't know much about him, so I'll keep it to the next guy...

I've gone through all the replies so far... There has been 11 lists added (2 others that I had to e-mail the author about, but I should be getting that back.)
The Top 50, so far, is pretty surprising, and the Top 5 is getting crowded... So remind everyone to vote, because I want as many hands in this as possible.
