Why not just summarize with the token "If you don't like it, leave" response...I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. But someone will oblige.
Look, there's nothing wrong with me putting a few smarks in their place and reminding them that their desires and wishes are ultimately worthless. I'm a full grown adult; my problems consist of career, bills, love life, etc. WWE is 5% of my life...it entertains me for 4hrs a week. The fact that people on here are petitioning for the reinstatement of Mickie James shows me that WWE is not a passtime for some people..it is their life. And that's pretty damn sad. I could give a damn if Mickie is on the PPV, I have far greater worries.
And so does WWE. They could give a damn about a few comic book guys and fanboys have to say. Most of whom don't even PAY towards the WWE product - choosing to download DVDs, watch PPVs via illegal streams, etc. So your opinion is worthless anyway because you're not a paying customer.

Tell me - HONESTLY - which one would draw biggest? It all depends on the city and who is on what show.

Sorry Fett, but you have just slipped into the naive smark "I tune into WWE to see Wrestling" brigade. They are equal to the "I read Entertainment Weekly in the hopes of discussing the theories of Einstein and Hawke". WWE has never been more than 50% about in ring action. NEVER. In the 80s it was Fuji Vice, Vachon's wedding, Gookers, and Steamboat becoming a ninja. Attitude was all about Mae Young, crucifixions, HLA, Edge going nuts in subways, Patterson in drag, etc. WWE is just as much about Big Dick Johnson, Mae Young's boobs and Katie Vick as it is about takedowns and grapevines. And until you, and the others complaining for "wrestling" realise that, you will continue to be disappointed and have to force feed yourself a weekly show that you don't enjoy. do you know me? no, I don't watch WWE except the big 4 ppvs, have you ever considered this.... "EVERYONE HAS A BLOODY OPINION AND IS 100% WITHIN THEIR RIGHTS TO HAVE ONES, THATS WHGY FORUMS LIKE THIS EXSIST, YOU THINK WHAT YOU SAID WILL REALLY CHANGE EVERYONES OPINION THEN YOU MUST BE AS NAIVE AS YOU THINK I AM, YES ENTERTAINMENT HAS ITS PLACE BUT THEY HABE WRESTLERS, A WRESTLING RING..I COULD GO ON BUT I WON'T, THE FACT IS WE COMPLAIN AND HAVE A RIGHT TO, SO LEAVE US ALONE, IF YOU DON'T LIKE OUR COMPLAINING AND DEBATING WHY ARE YOU HERE........WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can feel the hate swelling in you now. Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the dark side will be complete.

Look, there's nothing wrong with me putting a few smarks in their place and reminding them that their desires and wishes are ultimately worthless. Oh yeah ... you sure told me. So am I, and so do mine. Doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on other things; I like to call it "being well-rounded." Sure as hell doesn't sound like it entertains you; in fact, it sounds like you have disdain for anyone who is entertained by it. I have no argument with this statement at all. I've always thought blind fanboyism was stupid. Like "putting smarks in their place"? I'm a paying customer. I own some WWE DVD's, I've bought PPV's (in the past year, even!) and if I'd had the money when tickets went on sale, I'd be attending WrestleMania. Also, Vince already gets the paying customers' money; he should be worried about trying to get money from non-paying customers. They are willing to pay, they just need the proper motivation. And if that means *gasp!* putting on wrestling matches once in a while, then so be it.

"Wanker" is a ROH/TNA mark who wanted to get some WWE smarks riled up by basically telling them their show is complete garbage so they should switch over to the "light" of "real" wrestling in ROH/TNA. The convenience of this occurring when ROH has a big show in Detroit the night before the biggest WWE show of the year is amazing.

I wonder how Luke and Butch would have fared in ROH, anyway.....

I think for the most part this guys right.
All Vince McMahon is out to do, like most big buisnessmen is to make money, whether that is upsetting his loyal fans or not. 99% of the time the loyal fans will stick around anyways no matter if the shows that are being put on aren't up to par.
Vince wants the mainstream interested in his product, the playboy readers, the apprentice fans, the hulkamaniacs from the 80's/90's to watch his show, because he knows that he already has a stable audience that isn't going away until they have a proper alternative.
I'm not saying that we shouldn't come onto this forum and complain that we wish things were better because there wouldn't be much fun if we just lay back and accept everything that was given to us now would there?

I'm sure the first thing that went through Vince's head when he heard about Mantaur was "CHA-CHIIIIING"

Personally I think the most fun thing about the WWE is complaining about it. =P
I watch the other feds to be entertained, and WWE to complain. Usually the complaining is pretty funny, especially when someone gets REALLY angry about a match result.

It's not that he wasn't right... it's that it's really not a good idea to start flaming in your first few posts. He could've said it in a way that wasn't "YOU ALL SUCK."

Even when it's not trolling though, the gist of the point "there's more to life than WWE" I can get behind, but these guys always spend like four pages 'putting smarks in their place' and talking about people wasting time complaining, yet complain about the complainers.
It always makes me wonder about these overachievers, that they can find time to grace the interweb with their presence to enlighten the masses via a post on a messageboard, that posting on a messageboard is a waste of time.
It's damn near a Zen koan, how does one get their point across that kvetching on the internet is wasting time, without kvetching on the internet themselves? It's a conundrum. I need to find one of these wizened hermits and learn their ways, so as a mod I can use my responsibility to bring their message to the masses here. I must learn to think as they do, dress as they dress, etc. Does anyone know where I can find a tinfoil hat?

Anti-smarks never go over well here. Especially when they seem to be bigger know it alls than the smarks they're complaining about.

I usually don't get into this computer crap and in fact right now I'm typing this from my laptop at a strip club while girls crawl all over me and I snort coke off their boobs."
