Just Austin countering the sweet chin music & then the stunner, Lynn VS RVD with all the reversals & chain wrestling from way back.
Imo, I think that reversal that Randy Orton does just shows the weakness of the move, Carlito makes it by landing on his stomach, Orton does little.

Kid Kash reversing E.Z Money's top rope powerbomb into a Hurracanrana at Anarchy Rulz 2000 was incredible.

The thing with the Michaels-Benjamin spot and that Carlito-Orton reversal is that they look kinda... stupid. Benjamin just jumps 3/4 across the ring, without even raising his arms? How's he going for an attack?
And Carlito is pretty clearly going straight into the mat stomach first before he even gets the RKO.

Not strictly speaking one of the *best* reversals of all time...but was Taker countering Sweet Chin Music into an elimination really *that* poorly executed that they had to cut it out of all flashback sequences since? Taker just PAUSED TIME and TELEPORTED Michaels over the top rope! He could've just done that to EVERYONE!

I loved how jericho always found a way to apply the liontamer in wCw, he countered a lot of frankensteiners with it

I've always loved Michaels reversing punches into Teardrop Suplex (his then-finisher) around 92-93. Prime example against Bret at Survivor Series 92. Smooth transition from defense to offense, without requiring blatant cooperation from the opponent.
Benoit could slap in a Crossface from nowhere too.
IMO "easy" counters are the best. Sure, reversing high flying moves with other high flying moves is cool and whatnot, but at times it's too obvious it's gonna happen, and the opponent looks like a tool quite often. That doesn't take away the brilliance of Benjamin-HBK springboard into SCM et similia...

A little bit of an odd choice, but I loved Rick Steiner countering a top rope move by the Headshrinkers into a powerslam during Wrestlemania IX. For the time period, it was a great move. That was the one I thought of first when I saw this thread.

Not really a certain person but i always love when someone is going for a double axe handle or whatever from the top rope. The opponent then jumps up and drop kicks them in the stomach. Always looks so painful and usually catches you by surprise

Yeah, wow, that does look sloppy. It looks like af first, Taker was supposed to grab Shawn's leg, maybe get his shoulder under him and propel him over that way (that is, if we're taking the magical flashback scene as any indication of what should have happened, it looks like Taker is supposed to duck the SCM and then come up from under him and toss him over). Ah well, most guys dont go over the top rope in any spectacular way so *shrug*. Speaking of HBK, does anyone have that amazing SCM moment against Shelton in the Gold Rush Tournament? I marked like crazy when I saw that, and if my memory serves me right, the crowd popped like crazy for it.

The Wrestling Classic: Adrian Adonis reverses a move to reverse DDT Corporal Kirschner following it up with the Sharpshooter.
Good match.

Someone reversed a F5 into a DDT but I can't remember who it was, I think it was Kurt Kennedy's Tombstone on Undertaker Rey's 619 ending in JBL powerbombing the mess out of him. Rey's springboard anything against Mark Henry who just smacked him to the floor Jericho turning Rey's Huracanrana into the Liontamer Cactus Jack throwing Randy Orton into the thumbtacks in mid-RKO My all-time favorite, Spike dudley trying to do the Dudley Dog to Stone Cold who proceeds to throw him out of the ring in motion through a table

someone (i think it was rey mysterio)tried to do a moonsault on undertaker, and he caught him and tombstoned him. it isnt that creative, but he did it really quick, like as quick as kane usually does it, and it looked like it killed rey/whoever it was.
oh yeah, and another good one was when rey mysterio (this time it definately was him) tried to leapfrog chavo guerrero, and chavo bent down, let him get over him, and then grabbed rey out of mid air by his legs, swung him back, and hit the gory bomb.
