The ones that spring to mind for me are both from Randy Orton; the ChokeslamNOTHAPPENINRKO and Foley countering an RKO by simply shoving him away, sending him crashing into dozens of thumb tacks.

rey mysterio countering an outsider's edge (not sure of the real name of the move) from eddie guerrero off the top rope in mid air into a hurricanranna pin for the win at halloween havok 1997

There are two good ones with HBK and Shelton. Shelton attempts a diving attack on Shawn Michaels, who connects with Sweet Chin Music as Shelton is coming down. In a similar spot, Shelton Benjamin attempts a sprinboard attack on HBK who tries to counter with Sweet Chin Music, but Shelton catches Michaels's foot and connects with the Dragon Whip.

I always thought someone countered a DDT into a Northern Lights Suplex. Yeah I'm pretty sure that was in a Lynn vs RVD match in ECW. Probably a few other matches too but thats the one that springs to mind. |

Yeah, it was pretty common in WCW's cruiser matches to have one go for the Tornado DDT but, reverse into a NLS but, Lynn/RVD had some of the best reversals of all time. |

A little bit of an odd choice, but I loved Rick Steiner countering a top rope move by the Headshrinkers into a powerslam during Wrestlemania IX. For the time period, it was a great move.

Chris Benoit reversing the Batista Bomb into the Crossface was a total mark out moment for me. Also, the RK-ARHGAHGHAHTHUMBTACKS rocked, defenitely didn't expect the guy without the shirt to take the fall on those.

Dunno if it qualifies, but a personal favourite will always be Big Show going for the top rope chokeslam on Lesnar, and Lesnar blocks and pulls off a super-plex. Even knowing in advance it was gonna happen didn't lessen the HOLY SHIT response.
