I'm sending Bruno Sammartino to your house to clobber you. Please don't compare Bruno to John Cena. EVER. I...I didn't even realize it, but I DID tacitly compare the two. I...wow, I retract that thought entirely. Sorry.

I get that everyone can't stand Cena. But can everyone really be so blinded by hate, that they would rather have Freakin' Umaga as champion? But the thing is ... people were pissed off when Kevin Nash ended Goldberg's streak, right? And they look back on it and give it a giant ''WTF?" And Goldberg was the champion! Umaga has beaten everyone (except Cena, obviously) including the (arguably) number-two and -three merchandise sellers in the 'E - HHH and HBK. It basically comes down to several months worth of a push for Umaga flushed down the drain so tha Vince can blow Cena some more. I'm not happy about the ending of the match, but I wasn't happy with Umaga's title shot, either. Kayfabe-wise, Umaga should have won. Who has beaten Cena in the time Umaga has been around? Edge, RVD, and Kevin muthaf***in' Federline. (which in and of itself is a travesty, but I digress.) If he can't beat a non-wrestling, skinny, useless piece of donkey dookie like Federline, why should he go over the "undefeated, unstoppable Samoan bulldozer"? Sorry ... I got a bit side-tracked there, but I think you get my point. I'm pissed because jobbing Umaga like that made no sense, as if to say "Yeah, well, our champion can lose to a guy who has never wrestled before, but God forbid he puts over the one guy who hasn't lost yet." It's horsepoopy, and I'm sure WWE knows it.

Eh. A roll-up win is a roll-up win.
It's not like he pummeled him for three minutes and pinned him cleanly.
I do believe this is the first time in quite a while that Cena had to resort to sneaky tactics to win a match.

Umaga's undefeated streak will be sorely missed. But is it TNA bound?

My problem is, they've booked themselves into a corner, and there's no way out of this that keeps Umaga looking strong.
If they have a rematch, and Umaga beats Cena, then what? Will they let Umaga run with tht title? Of course they wouldn't.
Which means, if they have a rematch, on RAW or something, and Umaga somehow wins, then they'll just have a third match, and Cena will win that one, setting up a feud with whomeve, probably Orton with our luck.
They spend ten months building a guy as a monster, even having Trips AND Shawn put him over as a beast. Yes, he even beat Cena (though it took him, AAE, and three other guys to do it) in building the push.
Then, in one night, they book a match that, instead of being a link in the feud chain, forced them to either not have a rematch, or, ultimately, have Umaga lose to Cena again.
Yes, he looked good during the match, that's fine, and that's a good thing, but how does him losing tonight, when this was the perfect time to have him get his win, thereby making the eventual Cena win less anticlimactic.

Umaga's undefeated streak will be sorely missed. But is it TNA bound? Nope. It just wants to spend time with its family and get over its addiction to prescription painkillers. Carrying the hopes of the IWC Cena-haters for 10 months really put a strain on its back.

So Cena roll upped Umaga in a feud that was boring. So what now? I bet they will make Umaga beat some jobbers and make Cena´s life miserable and...Okay scrath the last part. I beat Umaga will assualt like, twice Cena and then set up Royal Rumble, were Cena A) Screwjob of the Title with the Interference of All Samoa, Rock inclued. B) Cena retains, killing Umaga character.

The idea for the finish is just so goddamned retarded that it HAD to come from a McMahon.
Instead of taking an undefeated monster and pushing him to the moon AS SUCH, they blow it to stroke Cena's ego. I mean, this is getting almost as bad as Jarrett's stranglehold on the TNA title.
Common sense would dictate that Umaga beating Cena and holding the belt till Mania would be the way to go with this. If you're gonna end the guy's streak, end it at a PPV that MATTERS, while at the same time giving Cena some sort of motivation and direction (and lets face it, Cena works better when he's chasing the belt, not holding it in a deathgrip).
Another misfire by the McMahons.

Like no one saw this coming. Seriously. Did anyone here honestly think they were going to put Umaga over Cena for the title? In a non-title match, sure. But no way, especially not in the main event.
Now, what remains to be seen will be if WWE just buries Umaga after this, or tries to scrape his credibility back together.

you know, i am not a cena mark by any means. however, these people who wanted umaga to win overlook one key thing: he isn't over, and cena is. the largest part of the crowd doesn't care about umaga. i will admit that cena's popularity has dropped considerably, but he's still way more over than umaga has ever thought about.
