I don't hate Cena in fact I'm a pretty big fan of the guy, but this sucks. All that build up, just for this. I like Umaga's aura and that streak was a good thing to do to get him over. Now he's just been sqaushed, where does he go?

nearest window is at ground level, Gojira has to stand up dust himself off and act like no one just saw him tumble to the ground.

WWE will salvage Umaga by having beat the living crap out of Jeff Hardy on Raw to become the NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW Intercontinental Champion!!! I wasn't going to say it, but that was my general feeling too.... I am sensing it will happen in about 19-21 hours actually....

It wasn't John Cena rushing in, hitting an FU and ending the undefeated streak in 30 seconds.

Yeah, I really hate the "loss = squash" mentality. Not every loss is a squash, folks. Sure it is! Every loss is either a squash or a burial. The only way to keep things fair to the IWC is to have every match end in a no-contest In all honestly, Umaga did not lose any of his heat during the match. He pretty much controlled the entire match, until Cena saw his chance and got the quick roll up pin. No need to freak out over this loss.

I still believe in Armando forming a monster heel stable of Umaga, Mark Henry, Carlito, and Monty Brown. Sorta like the Nation, with Monty as the main event guy, Carlito at the IC, and Henry/Umaga as the unbeatable tag-team force/enforcers for the group. They want to end Cenamania, control the belts, run the show, and finally get respect for what they do in the ring. Because hell, Umaga's awesome but can't get over. Maybe the fans don't want to invest in a heel who they know was designed to be fed o Cena, even if he initially wasn't.

The whole 'Super Cena' gimmick sucks so much it can pass a watermelon thru a Krazy straw!!!! But the real bad guys here are Vince McMahon & WWE (un)Creative!! I didn't watch it, but I can bet JR & King's sycophantic commentary would've made me dry reach!

I liked the way it ended. Basically, Cena didn't dominate Umaga to beat him. Cena simply got lucky. Umaga was extremely dominent in this match, and I think this was the best way to end it.
Cena's selling in particular has improved by leaps and bounds since his infamous no-sell of the table at Taboo Tuesday 2005, and I felt this was a much better match then I expected.

I get that everyone can't stand Cena. But can everyone really be so blinded by hate, that they would rather have Freakin' Umaga as champion? I for one don't have any problem with cena. Umaga bored me, and actually jumped the shark when they put him completely and totally over Kane at EVERY opportunity. I was hoping someone would stop his streak before now. But thank God they weren't stupid enough to put the belt on him. Oh and for those who complain that Cena won with a roll up? Hogan beat Undertaker TWICE with a Roll-up in title matches.

I first saw the phrase "jump the shark" a week ago. Now I'm seeing it every damn day. I don't even think people are using it correctly.

The streak wasnt that great anyway. Just look at who he beat, either some washed up legends or mid carders. A lot of people dis on the Goldberg streak but at least he had 2 titles out of it and a win over the"immortal" Hulk Hogan. Anyhow, I am glad its over but I still CANT STAND FACE CENA!!

Last time I checked, Jumping the Shark meant they had to do something really drastic and go downhill. Beating Kane at every oppertunity isn't really desperate and Drastic.

Obviously I'm the only one pleased by the outcome. Umaga is a horrible gimmick (a samoan savage with grillz), he only so-so as a monster, and to be quite honest AAE isnt even that good on the mic. At best Umaga could EVER hope for is a transitional title reign, and unfortunely for him, theres no other faces in the main event scene to even challenge an Umaga.
Ask Kevin Nash, he'll tell you, Cena is the best thing in sports entertainment currently. Remember its not about workrate, its 100% about who makes the most money. Fact is, that man is currently John Cena.
Its just too bad WWE doesnt send stars over too Japan anymore. We'll never see the thread "ZOMG CENACANRANNA!!!!111onoenoene"
edit: unintended bad pun omg
