The finish on ECW was really weak. It was an embarrassment to do a stretcher finish on that lame closeline. They barely made contact and the both landed so gently. Back in the old ECW, RVD would do a summersault over the guard rail and onto the unmatted floor and still get up. "BULL SHIT" by the crowd is right!

I agree, bad finish.
It will probably set up RVD vs. Bobby the Bore at the RR.

The countout finish was fine by me.
Though the "laying there injured" bit was unneeded, unless that part was unplanned, which is unlikely.

I am not saying that they have you go full blown like the old ECW with dangerous stunts. Just give the fans some decent finishes. Tonights finish made both wrestlers look weak!

I agree, bad finish. It will probably set up RVD vs. Bobby the Bore at the RR. They will probably do a 3 way with Test and the Rumble.

Better then RVD getting jobbed out, which was the only other way to go as they arent taking the title off Lashley this early.

No matter what happened, there would have been complaints.
Maybe RVD should have jumped from the top rope to get more air and not look like he grazed Lashley.
Also...if Balls was really injured (I don't know who to trust!...) then that took away from the ending.
Why do I say "really?" If Balls were injured, which the replay helped make seem legit...then I wish him well. If not, it helped foreshadow the future, or declined from the future.
Either way, what I am really saying is...if ratings don't increase, then Balls Mahoney gets fired.

The match itself, before the finish, I hope we can all agree on was fine. A better situation (or not), would have had Test, who earlier in the night boring people with his promo about making an impact, and had him interfere. That would have been a much better crap finish than the one we were given.

It should start an "old vs new" fued like i have been seeing the idea around here.
RVD complains that in the old days the wuss champ would not get to win on a countout or being injured. It all goes from there.

Honestly, I was trying to buy it. I couldn't imagine a finish so stupid, I was carefully watching the replay thinking "did he land funny on his leg? They can't be this stupid!"

I haven't seen a worse ending since the Blair Witch movie! Okay, Lashley's standing on the table....he almost fell....Van Dam hits a flying clothesline, they're both on the ground...and...its over. A lot of people look pissed.

I like Test, his not bad. When i actually watch a show, i find him as one of the bright spots.....which probably isn't a good thing i guess
