For the record, and for all of the Batista haters on the forum: the last time Batista was involved in a pay-per-view and he either did not hold the World Heavyweight Championship, or his match had absolutely no World Heavyweight Championship ramifications at all was at the Survivor Series.........................................................................................................in 2004.

I really doubt Batista wins this. But this will end the feud once and for all and I also see Batista going to RAW with the draft happening.

Batista vs. Edge. With the WWE Draft tomorrow night, where Batista goes will determine who wins or loses at Vengeance.
Assuming all champions stay on their current brands, if Batista stays on SmackDown, he will win the WHC. If Batista goes to Raw or ECW, he will lose the match, because no brand can have two major champions.
It's like back in 2005, when Batista was the last pick to SmackDown, much to nobody's surprise, because Raw wasn't going to hold the WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion for more than the four weeks they did.

Either way, Batista is involved. And that sucks, as he's ALWAYS involved.
Best possible outcome to this: Batista gets injured again. I don't wish injury on anyone, but this crap isn't going to end until he goes away again, and all of you know this, and likely agree with me.

I Can see Kennedy getting involved in this match to set up the feud with Edge when he gets back.

I Can see Kennedy getting involved in this match to set up the feud with Edge when he gets back. I forgot about him during the endless supply of title shots being dished out to Batista, hopefully he comes back real soon.

I forgot about him during the endless supply of title shots being dished out to Batista, hopefully he comes back real soon. Speaking of Batista's endless title shots, i think this outlines the main problem with the WWE, in that they have no clue how to book heel champions anymore. When Rey was champ he feuded with Randy Orton, JBL, and King Booker. Each one of them got only ONE or TWO shots and that was IT. When King Booker was champ he feuded with Rey for like one week and then it was the Dave Batista Show. When Batista was champ he feuded with King Booker, Kennedy, and Undertaker. Same thing as with Rey in regards to title shots Now Edge is champ and despite having a champ that almost anybody could challenge, it's just Batista, Batista, Batista.

Exactly, something tells me Batista picked up some of those backstage politic skills from Triple H during his time in Evolution. Because even when he was injured it was all about how anyone who didn't get his belt was going to give it right back to him anyway.
Either Vincent has a huge hard-on for him. Or WWE fans can be stupid sometimes to let these things happen.

The main problem in my opinion that they have, is that the main event faces and heels aren't spread around evenly on the three brands. RAW has the faces. Smackdown! has the heels. ECW has...tweeners I guess. The constant Batista title oppurtunities should change on Monday with the draft.

Matt hardy would be a great feud because every man & his dog knows the history between Edge & Hardy.
