this is surreal. theres seriously a three page thread about how the RKO is harder to do than the diamond cutter? are you kidding me? lol its a wrestling move. its fake. neither takes any more skill than the other. you wouldnt be able to do either in a real fight. if it wasnt for the participation of the otehr guy in the ring, it would never work. Yeah, a guy tried to Stunner me in a real fight once. I just...stood there and laughed as he fell on his ass and I remained stationary, then kicked the s*** out of the back of his head.

Always looked to me like DDP practiced for hours daily to make the cutter look great... and it worked. He was so over with that move. Yeah, the Diamond Cutter was the most over move in WCW for a LONG time. That move is one of the main reasons why DDP got over so well. The move would just come out of nowhere. There wasn't any long setup for the move like most finishers and he could hit the move from so many different situations and angles. I remember one time on Saturday Night, he whipped his opponent to the ropes, pushed him into the air when he came back, and hit the Diamond Cutter like a 3D (I hope I'm remembering the move right). After the match was over, he yelled into the camera, "Thanks, Bubba Ray!" This was when Bubba would have been in ECW.

That move was death to most guys, especially when he'd do it off the top rope on occasion also known as the "Diamond Death Cutter". Orton's just looks weak in comparison.

Randy's RKO on be---- the night after Summerslam '04 was REALLY high. Also, Orton has changed the way he does it now, but before he used to grab the guys head with one arm while having the other arm extended, and then on the way doen, right before they hit the ground, he'd hit the guy in the back of the head with his other arm, right at the moment of impact, to add extra pressure I guess.

Yet people get mad when Orton finishes people off with a kick to the head and not an RKO.

Once Orton can hit one so fast no one saw it coming, then we'll debate whether or not he's better than Page. Until then, DDP>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Orton.

BUt here's the thing you call it "lazy" but see that takes away part of the motion which means it is more out of nowhere and quick sort of move rather than having the jump in the air. Yeah it adds a little style but just being grab the head and go down is quicker so it catches you more by surprise.
