Well, Khali is however many feet fall. That puts him on a higher priority.
Plus, it's just bad booking. They want to make people boo Khali, I'm thinking, by having him pummel a popular guy.

This is the WWE. They had a cruiserweight as "heavyweight champion of the world". The WORLD, y'all. Their current cruiserweight champion is a leprechaun who's mother screwed Vince McMahon.
logic >noun 1 reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity. 2 the ability to reason correctly. 3 (the logic of) the course of action following as a necessary consequence of. 4 a system or set of principles underlying the arrangements of elements in a computer or electronic device so as to perform a specified task. -DERIVATIVES logician >noun. -ORIGIN from Greek logik tekhn 'art of reason'.
The WWE doesn't recognize the word "logic" but maybe they'll look it up in the dictionary like I did?

I dunno it kinda bothers me that the first time Jeff and Khali faced off Jeff actually got in a lot of offense compared to what happened here.

Raw really seemed to hype Smackdown this week.
From Vince's "son" being on the show from the World Champion showing up and mauling the IC champion before Batista made the save, it seemed like they might actually want people to watch the show.

I'm trying to make sense of this, so bear with me. He wins the IC title, has the fans behind him to the point he's arguably the second most over guy on the brand on certain nights behind John Cena, and ..... well just re-read part 2. The guy is over as smurf. Not to mention the Hardy signs and shirts covering lots of the crowd are unavoidable. Great Khali ..... isn't. At all. Him and his head vice of doom. I'm talking pin drop action on most nights from the crowd. I'm trying to make sense out of having Jeff Hardy get promo time, go face to face with McMahon, have the crowd fully behind him, and having Khali squash him. And make nooooo mistake about it, that was a total annihilation squash. It isn't going to make anyone who doesn't give a crap about Khali give a crap about him now. It isn't going to do Jeff one bit of good. Jeff Hardy lost to the Great Khali by taking way too many chances, and The Great Khali took advantage of his mistake. Plus JEff hardy is a Hardy boy no shame in losing to the World Champion. He got crushed because it would have made Khali look weak. It keeps Khali looking like a monster. that's what's up. That match was terrible. Blown spots everywhere. YEah Jeff was very spastic last night, all Khali did was stand there and Jeff was so sloppy with his spots. the logic in putting over Jeff is stupid. i hate Jeff Hardy. Khali got mega heat at the beginning of RAW

Or perhaps they were short on heels this week? I dunno, it's possible.

I don't know if him losing to Khali was a good idea or not, all I know is we need to have him on the mic more. He's kind of in the so-bad-he's-good category.

I just thought it was interesting that Raw seemed to show so much attention to Smackdown when it is normally the other way around.

The only good part of that match was the crowd absolutely not giving a crap about The Great Khali as always. Cena vs Khali got 2 good buy rates out of J-Day and ONS. Both were better then Backlash and Vengeance, so take it for what it's worth. Once again, all PPVs are TriBranded. Correct, but who gets credit for a ppv buyrate, good or bad? The main event.

I loved how Khali botched the easiest move of all: The head squeeze

I don't know if him losing to Khali was a good idea or not If Jeff won last night, you'd hear nothing but "OMG, They buried the World Champion" and "OMG, They HATE Smackdown"

Because Khali got decent buyrates in recent months as a main eventer. All PPVs are tri-branded. Which explains why the first tri-branded PPV got a disappointing buyrate, right?

Did the referee screw up the ending of the match?
I mean, how long was Jeff in the Cranium Crush or Khali Vice Grip? Even JR was like, "Why doesn't the ref call it! This is heinous!"

I loved how Khali botched the easiest move of all: The head squeeze Would you really want to touch a Hardy Boy'z hair? I mean Jeff is the Rainbow Warrior lord knows what kinda "gel" he uses, and MAtt's got the greasiest head this side of Bret Hart.
