It really makes no sense to me why this guy isn't booed
He has no more moves then Cena. He is basically Superman and the kids love him
He was booed at ECW (but they liked booing everybody)
So yeah, give your explanation

He's not as stale as Cena is. He dosent hold the title forever and then crush every challenger he faces.
He's not as good as Cena in ring wise, but I think most fans can tollerate him more then Cena, just because of how they are both booked.
Plus, he has more of that tweener edge that Cena lacks. Cena is a straight babyface, Batista has some heelish tendancies.

It's probably because he's chased the title more than he's held the title. Even if it is really friggin contrived (being perpetual no. 1 contender and such)

But seriously this has kinda pissed me off since Summerslam 06 that not a lot of people rag on Batista but Cena gets the full wrath of the IWC./

Most people on this board are of the way of thinking that Cena as a person seems pretty down to earth and cool, but as a character they're sick of having him shoved down their throat. As for the question posed by this thread...I'm not sure. Batista is pretty straight forward on the mic, whereas Cena goes on long diatribes that people either love or hate. Add that with the hip hop thing which people also either love or hate, and that's the best answer I can come up with. |

Because he's not portrayed as a goodie - two - shoes like Cena is. He has the attitude of not a pure face or heel and fans are more accepting of that rather than a squeaky clean Mr. super nice guy.
Steve Austin, The Rock, nWo, and DX pretty much killed off the all around smiling good guy over 10 years ago. It's too bad WWE don't realize that.

Because not enough people watch SD.
That's really a good question though. Probably because he is a power guy, is on SD, and doesn't get stuck with some of the lame things Cena gets(like the evil GM thing, his heels trying to outface him, poop-jokes, same moveset/matches).
