That confirms it.
Whatever's going to happen is going to occur on October 7th, which is also my birthday. Maybe Jericho is going to come to my party.

We should do something like this on the Internet, leaving subtle hints on random sites about something big that's happening.
Then we can have our version of The Gooker. We'll go over huge.

161.
This is the final nail in it for me.
I can't wait to see Tyler Black's response to this.

There are a lot of similarities to this and the marketing campaign to "Year Zero." Some fake websites and carefully distributed flash drives containing Y2J matches are all that's needed.

October 7th. It just seems so rushed. Although I'd quite like Jericho on my screen sooner rather than later, you'd just expect more of a build up to this over a month or so.
How long we're those millenium countdown clock promos going on for?

Somebody in the WWE is a Nine Inch Nails fan. For those unfamilliar, the band leaked tracks and left flyers in bathrooms at concerts. It became a scavenger hunt for fans and got the album huge publicity. I think this is a great way to generate interest in the product and I think the WWE is really doing something great with this. Jericho or no Jericho - this is still the most exciting thing they have done all year. If only they'd keep us guessing like this with their booking.

Just one week away.
Is everyone glad this is all wrapping up quickly or do you think it would've been better if it went on a bit longer, like the original Millenium Countdown?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, after all. I'm very glad they're trying something like this. Freshen things up. It was fun with 161, and this has been awesome so far too. People were up until 3 in the morning on Monday analyzing that video. Can't beat that.

So will it be done on Oct. 7 or will the PPV just be the next big clue?

How long we're those millenium countdown clock promos going on for? I think that at No Mercy that something will happen but the whole thing won't be revealed. If it isn't referenced on RAW this week, maybe something like after the title match some type of package plays on the tron. That way non-internet fans are made aware of it, and the announcers would speculate about it and mention how the website's been hacked and how fliers have been left behind. This would all lead to Cyber Sunday, which in fairness would fit the 222 theme better.

Actually, I would be very annoyed if it all turned into a pseudo "We're glad you enjoyed No Mercy. Order our next PPV, Cyber Sunday, if you want to know what happens next."

I wonder is this helps Raw's ratings?
