Well times have changed and fans aren't keen on paying money to see a 60-minute chain-wrestling contest between two guys, it's more about entertainment. It may suck to some, but that's what we've come to.

While I don't completely disagree, I think there's still a big place for it. Look at the reaction to Angle/Benoit matches for instance. I don't think I've ever seen Cena or Batista lose a match and get a standing ovation.

Well I think the fans were already into both guys before the match even got going. Nowadays it's really hard to get fans into a match that doesn't involve Cena, Trips, HBK or Batista.
