There seems to be a new wave of 2nd Generation Stars in WWE right now. I want to know which ones you think will hit and which ones will fall short of expectations. And what would you think of starting a stable with all the 2nd Generation wrestlers? Heres a list of the 2nd Generation stars currently in WWE.
Carlito- Son of Carlos Colon Deuce- Son of Jimmy Snuka Cody Rhodes- Son of Dusty Rhodes D.H. Smith- Son of the British Bulldog Jesse- Son of Terry Gordy Also Ted Dibiase Jr. is coming up through the farm leagues of WWE.

Dare I say it, but as of a few hours ago, it appears Cody's doing the best of all of them. Can't wait for one or both of the DiBiases to debut though.

Ted Jr is a 3rd generation star. The same could be argued for Harry Smith since his grandfather is Stu Hart.

Even though he's a tag wrestler, he's a pretty steady midcarder on the blue show, and has held the tag title. Also, Deuce has gone on record as saying he wants to get over "as himself," not as Snuka Jr. For which I say, good on him. I think the team has gotten over as a solid midcard heel team, which is great for guys who are still relatively new. Cody, ugh, yeah, he's making the best of what he was to work with, but he's still a CAW. Harry, well, we've been over that situation. I really wanted to see a new Hart Foundation in the E, but this pretty much puts the last nail in that coffin.

Rey's dad wasn't a wrestler, was he? I thought his uncle was?

Rey's dad wasn't a wrestler, was he? I thought his uncle was? I think his dad might be one, but I know his uncle is who he got the name from. What happened to Harry? Out of the current next gens, I like Cody, Deuce, and Carlito best.

WWE "Kayfabe" has always been the same as real life in regards to Rey. He was always Rey Jr. out of respect to his uncle but a few years ago his uncle gave him permission to drop the "Jr." from his name. He technically is not a 2nd gen star in kayfabe or RL. During the Mysterio-Psyhcosis match at ONS1, Mick Foley and Joey Styles talk extensivily about this.

Rey Misterio has taken to calling himself Rey Misterio Sr., with respect to Rey, and has redonned his mask that I believe he lost.

Isn't Deuce adopted? I don't think that makes him a second generation star legit. Had no idea Jesse was Gordy's son. I might check out one of his matches some time to see how good he is.

Is Mike Dibiase(name after Ted seniors dad Iron Mike Dibiase) the older brother or younger brother of Ted Junior, Mike is adopted as well. I believe they debuted as pro werstlers as a tag team on the same show. Has anyone seen Mike wrestle. Is he not advanced as Ted Junior ring wise(or personality wise). Does mike not wrestle a WWE style, is Mike to samll for the WWE or is he just got that break in to the WWE like Ted Junior has allready recieved. Since they debuted at the same time as pro wrestlers it just seems odd the WWE did not pick them up at the same time.
