The Hart Foundation in 97. I hated all of them and marked everytime SCSA, HBK, HHH, Goldust etc. beat and/or made fools of them. USA! USA!
Nowadays its Khali and Umaga, but 60% of that is I find their characters and style awful

Being the huge Kennedy mark that I am, when Edge stole the briefcase from Mr. Kennedy I was legit pissed at Edge when he stole the briefcase. I seriously didn't see that coming and had read nothing prior to that. When I found out he might be injured, I got even more mad! Agree with this! I remember watching it and totally expected a good solid match, with Kennedy going over to truly look like the 'new oppurtunist' or something like that. I remember punching the sofa and screaming 'NOOOOO!' into my cushion when Edge won it, so in that sense it was very well booked by the WWE. I remember kayfabe hating HHH in 99/00. The Jericho reversal of the title win was fantastic booking, as was him beating Foley and then retiring him at No Way Out. I really did hate HHH. Other than him, I can't really remember another heel I have truly hated, although I did stop watching from about 2003 until just before this years Wrestlemania. Brock Lesnar used to annoy me around the time of his debut because of the fact that he'd just beat people all the time easily, but I eventually appreciate his awesomeness. The whole Mcmahon/Helmsley fagime I hated as well, although that's just an extention of HHH. Heels like Edge, Jericho, MVP and Kennedy I don't hate because I appreciate then as entertaining. That's what made HHH a great heel. He in no way played to the crowd whatsoever, and yet was still entertaining because he made me like the face more. For me to truly hate a heel, I need to be really into the face. Like I was into Jericho when HHH got the decision reversed. Like I was really into Kennedy (admittedly not a heel but I'm a huge Kennedy mark) so I didn't like Edge for doing that. The heel needs to be denying my favourite wrestler what I believe is rightfully there's. I quite like Batista, but I don't like him to the extent that I hate the heel he is chasing for being champ. There isn't enough creative booking the way they used HHH nowadays, the face is just talked up by the commentators, does their thing in the 'right' way, while the heel uses the generic heel actions. I suppose Khali could make me hate him with his constant squishing, but as I'm not super-behind the face I don't care as much, just find it midly entertaining. Maybe it's because I don't really have a major like for many of the faces right now, or maybe it's just because the heels aren't booked as creatively, but the last one I truly did hate for an extended time was HHH. If we had a face Kennedy (although with his same character, not watered down for face purposes) chasing a heel champ, I would probably hate the heel. Ditto a face MVP, or a face Jericho, or a face Shelton. It's because as I watch at home every week I just watch the show for entertainment. For instance I know Cade and Murdoch are supposed to be heels, but I find their playing by the rules schtick entertaining, so don't actively hate them. I find MVP too entertaining to hate him. I found any feud with HHH entertaining, but I really HATED him. As a heel, he doesn't have any funny, or redeeming qualities about him to like or get behind. You can sing along to the Rock, shout 'KENNEDY!!!' with Mr. Ken etc and participate with them. The only thing HHH remotely had was 'I am that.damn.good!' but he never done it in an over the top way like Rock, Kennedy, Jericho or MVP do that I had to like/find him entertaining for it. HHH has to be one of, if not the best heel ever IMO. With most heels you could find them cool, funny, entertaining or just plain badass awesome that you could somehow not hate them as much. Not with HHH, he was just too good a heel.

it really sucks because as a fan i want to cheer honestly and i usually like the heels.
but as a fan within the show, it breaks kayfabe and hurts everyones feeligns.
to cheer for the faces and boo the heels makes the whole thing work and is probably showing more respect than being honest, and if there is some 6 year old kid you dont wanna confuse him.
the world is weird, theres kayfabe in it too...thats why wrestling not as much of a joke as people make it out to be. youve got people that run around in everyday life trying to get over based on what other people think and its almost the same thing.

Orton's decimation of Cena's father was a major heat thing. I mean, I'd hate to have to watch my own father be injured, so that definitely worked on me.

I hated the Hart Foundation and wanted someone (usually Austin) put them in their place. Switching Raw between US and Canada every week was a stroke of genius now im a little older so i dont really hate heels in kayfabe. if someone's a good heel i give them credit for it (Edge, Orton, etc) The last time i really hated a heel was King Booker--not because hes a good heel, but because i find him incredibly overrated and i've never liked him face or heel. I may be the only person that marked when HHH beat him at WM 19.

yea im going with edge and jbl too....mainly jbl because of the fact that when he was wwe champ on sd, for almost a year, he would brag how he was a wrestling god and how he would come out on top before each of his title defenses in which he did, i couldnt stand that

for being a heel? I'm not talking because you find him boring or any type of x-pac heat, I mean in a way where you want him to get his ass kicked by a face. As we all know, back in 2000, Triple H dominated the scene with his fued with The Rock. I may have been 13 at the time, but I wanted The Rock to win the fued(which he eventually did). When Triple H was in the process of making a face turn during his fued with Kurt Angle, I marked out, because, if history tells you anything, successful heels can(but not always) get over as faces. When Triple H attacked "Stone Cold" Steve Austin with the sledgehammer, I was really mad, and wanted The Texas Rattlesnake to get his revenge, which he did. Even though I'm more educated with the business and I'm 20 years old, I can still hate heels for that purpose. Before Wrestlemania 23, when Umaga and Vince McMahon were beating up Eugene and shaving his head, I somehow wanted Umaga to get his ass kicked because of his savage behavior. How about you? Vinny Jones when watching "The Condemed" last night. Man, was he a monster heal in that movie or what?!?!

I find it impossible to hate a heel for being a heel because they are always the most intriguing characters. I've disliked heels regardless of them being heels just because I find them utterly boring e.g Snitsky.
Even when I was a mark and Jericho won the undisputed title, I still liked him. He was a huge heel but since he was a favourite I just stuck with him, although I kind of wished he would stop being a douche.( In kayfabe of course).

Last time I marked against a heel for kayfabe reasons I think was Edge during the Hardy/Lita storyline.

It was he was a damn good heel, so I guess he did his job well..And I guess also it was he was winning all the time too, but mainly Trips got me to fall into mark mode

Even though I LOVE MVP, I really want Matt Hardy to just beat his ass into next Morningthaw!
(Yeah, that's a really obscure reference. Every once in a while I need to drop one just to see if anybody else follows the same... path as myself)

A heel who is winning all the time is that much easy to hate in any case. The best heels are ones that you can hate because they are credible. There aren't many heels that you go out of your way to boo when they are on a losing streak. The crowd in kayfabe terms will be boing him to put them off their game. A long title reign for a heel builds love for the face. Every time the heel wins, the crowd wants that face victory a little bit more, and it makes the eventual pop when it does happen (Punk v Morrison) Oh So Sweet.

I think that "marks" (I hate that term) get wrongfully steriotyped when they hate heels and cheer faces, as they get6 called "idiots", which isn't true. It's no different than us being "marks" when we watch TV or movies. No one says, "hey, Ed O'neal and Katie Seagal have good chemesty with each other and deliver their lines with good timing, I just wish Katie wasn't fed to Ed so much, she should be the main charactor'' No, no one says that. Instead, we say "Ha, that Al Bundy sure is funny, I loved how he punked Peg!"
So yes, I do think that smarks are just as "guilty" (If I can use that word) for purposely cheering all the heels and booing the faces as "marks are for cheering the faces and booing the heels.
Anyway, I remember my hatred for JBL escelating when He had John Cena arrested and embarresed by being placed in hand cuffs, and then kicked in the groin.

Not many in the 'E that I can think of, but JBL is definitely one of them.
I think the biggest one for me would be the HHH run everyone's talking about. Mainly because I'm such a huge Foley mark, and I wanted to see Cactus kick his ass into oblivion.
I disliked Corporate Rock too, but to a much lesser extent. I started liking him again way too fast.
