He is awesome. Book him well in matches to give him some bite to back up his bark. If asked who is the closest to the Rock or 80's piper I would say Santino. I hope they give him an honest shot to reach that level rather than cutting his legs off and making him look weak. I would love to have another Mic heal rather than all the dasterdly heals we have now.

I started noticing that Austin didn't seem like the Stone Cold of old when he made an incredibly stale appearance on ECW awhile back. Since then, I haven't been into any time he's shown up on tv.

That appearance was horrible, he came that night just to talk for 8 or so minutes and that was the ending segment to ECW.

The Austin-Santino interaction may be seen in two ways:

a) Santino is really gutsy and isn't afraid of Stone Cold

b) Santino is really stupid and can't understand when it's time to shut up/retreat.

Either way he got stunned and drowned in beer.

For the amusement of all the Nostalgic Fans and for the bemusement of me and (I hope) several other fans who are sick of Austin's pointless appearences.

I'd understand Stone Cold showing up and stunning Santino if there was a chance of an actual match, to put Santino over (not even with a win, but a nice showing on his part would be enough).
But Austin can't work a match anymore, so I bet Santino won't have a real "revenge".
