I realize it may be a little early to start a topic like this, but what the hey.
Submit your thoughts on who should be included as legends in the next game.
If this should be in the other thread then go ahead and lock this one, but it seems like a different enough topic.
My votes are for, along with previous inclusions of Bret Hart, DiBiase, Rocky, and Andre, to include Hennig, Rick Rude, Big Dust (as the polka-dotted WWF American Dream gimmick), and possibly Dennis Stamp.

I'd like to see more gimmicky and popular WrestleCrap-type wrestlers like Papa Shango and such.

Guys who weren't in the legends part of the games since 1920.

Tank Abbott. If he can get a legends figure, he deserves to be in a game too! He should come out to 3 Count's music.

I suggest Dean Malenko, just so I can give the greatest cruiserweight champion of all time, his title back.

I'd like to see any of these guys in a future SmackDown! vs RAW game:
- Iron Sheik - Ron Simmons - Vader - Goldust - Razor Ramon - Diesel - Ricky Steamboat - Owen Hart - IRS - Ken Shamrock - Giant Gonzales

The Von Erichs and Freebirds Definitely behind this. Make '09 have some tag team legends.

Yeah, Earthquake should make it it. So should Roberts, it doesn't seem like he's on the outs with the company.
I'd love to see Savage and Angle as legends but they burned their bridges. Jim "Hellwig" Warrior I don't think has a chance in hell. His moveset will probably still be in the game, though.
It would be great to see some NWA legends in there, though you gotta think the company wouldn't approve of something that takes the young marks' attention off the current product and turns it toward a time when wrestling was better, and it didn't belong to the E. I think the Dragon gimmick for Steamboat would work just fine for the company's purposes (though I'd be a lot happier with old NWA Ricky Steamboat). "Young" Ric Flair might also be good to include...after the "old" one retires.

I don't care as long as they have Razor Ramon and RVD.

Wasn't there a THQ thread here this week which said they're discontinuing the SvR series and starting a new "WWE Superstar" one?
