I'm still perplexed as to why anyone is stating that this "killed kayfabe." Kayfabe (or whatever suspension of disbelief you care to term the rose colored glasses we watch wrestling with) has been dead for years. I don't think making a complaint about that in this particular stage of wrestling is very valid. Yes, we all let our inner-smark go sometimes, but we all know its still predetermined and mostly scripted.
Besides, I'm thinking those "breakign kayfabe" moments were more a dig at Bonnie Hammer/USA than anything. Though I'd not be surprised to find out that the thing about the Writers Guild was Steph's way of gloating about HER writing staff being unaffected (because, as has been stated elsewhere, WWE isn't unionized).

Does anyone else think Khali may be turning face soon? He came out to "join DX", brain chops The Coach, and has a match scheduled against Hornswoggle. Does anyone else think that this is leading to a Hornswoggle/Khali big buddy and little buddy comedic attraction team?

It was funny indeed, but it's a stupid move nonetheless.
We know it's scripted, the vast majority of fans know it's scripted, Superstars are portrayed as "performers" by WWE etc
BUT
having your "actors" referring to a script while ON AIR is dumb and counterproductive. Especially if we have to believe the same guys are gonna "putting their career on the line" in another segment later in the night, or at the next PPV.
HHH and HBK crackes jokes about a script, about who writes "such crap", about past storylines... how can we buy into the fierce rivalry against Umaga and Orton just an hour later?
Kayfabe being "dead" is one thing, exposing its corpse while still pretending she's alive (a la "weekend at Barney's") it's bad business.
Just imagine watching SAW XVI and have Jigsaw saying "wow, these traps are sick! who came up with such ideas?" before moving on with the normal flow of the action...
