Batista has gottem much better at promo's lately, particularly last friday on Smackdown and Monday on raw. Unfortunetaly, if you do alot of things right and one thing wrong, everyone will just choose to acknowlege the wrong thing. As hilarious as I find this latest screw-up, I have to agree with this 100%. The problem with being famous is people put everything you do under a microscope. Nobody's perfect, people make mistakes, that's why they got erasers on pencils. However, "Big" Dave Batista still sucks ass. |

He mixed 2 words around...big freaking woop. I know it's funny and all to rag on Batista, but some people really do like to pick on every little mistake. The line should have been 'not only allowed...but welcomed' but it's not as if he is the first person to botch 2 single words in a promo. I agree about him being at his most charismatic when he doens't have to say much though. When he turned on HHH, he spoke for less than 20 seconds but it all made sense and fitted perfectly. No but when you have a reputation for botching promos and then botch another promo you can expect to get flamed. Seriously, think about this: He botched a promo where he had an excuse of not being in the right frame of mind to do promos. That's astronomically bad. I've never really heard him botch a promo. I know the board loves the whole "this Sunday I'm going to be needing the belt back..." or the basketball grudge comment which were said like once and the joke got beat to death around here, but it's not as bad as some would make it out to be. |

Well, the crowd seemed to mark for it and I know it's not filled with witty banter, but it doesn't have to be. It's effective enough,IMO. |
