If he's their best commentator, WWE has truly lost it in that department. I don't see how they lost on that department. JBL is incredibly knowledgable and making fun of Micael Cole is always a plus. I'm not a fan. I hate tweener announcers. I thought JBL was going to be a heel announcer, but he's terrible as one if that's what he's trying to be.

Sounds like Bradshaw's probably in the right here, but, well, the guy's a renown bully, so I'm sure he could say something thinking he only has the best intentions, and people could take it as an attack. You build a reputation, you reap what you sow (and maybe Bradshaw really ran Miz and Morrison down; we don't know what anyone said to one another, specifically). Still, by the sounds of it, he was likely in the right to say something. And I missed the first CM Punk vs. James Gibson match since ROH Redemption?! Damn. No. You missed the *second* Punk/Gibson match since Redemption. They also had one on the SmackDown! the week prior.

Yeah, I usually love retired wrestlers as announcers, but I think JBL has nothing on Tazz.
But I just don't like JBL much outside the ring.

I read about this news before I watched ECW. When I watched ECW, one of the things I did notice was Miz burying Morrison who was right by him, and somewhat putting Punk over, how Punk would be his only challenge. But, they really did distract from the match really bad, and it was a really good match between Noble and Punk, who are known for having great matches.
I don't think JBL was being a bully in this situation, I think when people are passionate about something, they are obviously not going to come off in the nicest way. So while it may've been not the best way to go about it, his intentions were good.

To say that the Miz/Morrison match distracted from the Punk/Noble match would be an understatement, IMO. They pretty much ruined it for me with their constant yapping, I thought it was pretty much horrible and served no purpose. It was like two kids fighting over a candy bar. "You suck" "NO U". The match was pretty good, though, but the lack of constant camera cuts to Morrison/Miz would've made it a lot better, not to forget their commentary which was cringe-worthy.

does the palace of wisdom have a shower-block?
seriously, though, i'm not gonna really say much about this at the moment. you don't know exactly what JBL said. berating someone can be anything from "you guys took away from the match, there" to "you f***ing morons", so it's easy to see how this may have escalated. so as it is now, i can't really tell enough to judge who was in the wrong.
