---MAJOR SMACKDOWN SPOILER BELOW---
*At last night's Smackdown/ECW taping, there was a physical altercation with JBL and John Morrison. Following the tapings JBL huddled CM Punk, Matt Hardy, MVP, John Morrison, and The Miz in a corner backstage at the arena. What JBL proceeded to do was rip apart Miz and Morrison for their job on commentary and in the ring on Smackdown against Hardy and MVP. JBL said that their commentary did nothing to benefit Punk or themselves, and that their ring work in their tag title victory over Hardy and MVP made Hardy and MVP look bad. He asked them to apologize to the other three. Miz was fine with it, apologized, and moved on. Morrison however got in JBL's face and told him it was none of JBL's business. He then apologized, and told JBL it had nothing to do with him. After the two went back and forth verbally some more, Morrison actually shoved JBL down, and the two began fighting. Johnny Ace and some people near by had to come break it up. No word on the fallout of this as of yet.

Ok. I am not immediately going to say this is true, in fact I'm a bit surprised since from what one usually hears about Morrision he's a bit more laid-back backstage and the reason he got pushed around brands was more because of the fact he was dating Melina who was the problem child (as it were). However, JBL giving a business-view heads-up doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility. Plus as we all know, JBL in straight up backstage fights does not fare so well at times (being taken out by one kick from Steve Blackman, for example)
So yeah, 50-50 I guess. And I'll definetely have to see this Friday's tag title match to see if Mizerson's ring work was "good" or not.

True, not to mention the fact we've been getting burned with fake reports and fake spoiler results lately. We don't even know if they really won the belts.

Interesting stuff.
Also, if you know, what are the reasons for an ECW star vanishing from television? Pretty sure it's Kevin Thorn, though it could also be Stevie Richards. Ever since that huge obvious botch Thorn did a few weeks back, he hasn't been seen.

Wrestler's Court in Session, The Case of The Boys vs John Morrison
The Honorable Judge Undertaker presiding.
Special Prosecutor- JBL
I will say that Morrison and Miz were completely out of line on commentary on ECW, it was horrible. It really took away from the good match between Gibson and Punk. JBL was right to talk to them about it, because someone really should have. I want to see how the title switch goes down on smackdown to know how bad it was to make JBL talk to them.
As for Morrison standing up to JBL, this wasn't him being a bully. This was him trying to maintain a professional attitude and "coach" the younger guys. If this was JBL cornering Morrison with a package of Nathans Franks in his hand and wiggling eyebrows, Morrison standing up to him would make him the hero of teh internetz. However, this makes morrison look horrible. Plus, it's on PWInsider. PWInsider and 411 are the only reputable places around right now.

I'm not going to presume that this is a true story, but if it is, then I'm glad Layfield said that. In recent years, the quality of storytelling inside the ring has been terrible.

Quick Question: Did PWInsider ever at any point during late spring of this year run that story wherin Matt Hardy was going to go on a losing streak and Jeff Hardy was going to become a prankster? The story as we all know that came out to be about as false as the concept of a perpetual motion machine. Since that story is pretty much my benchmark for reasons to be skeptical of news sites.

Oh god, I remember that story. I'm going back through their audio headlines but I don't see it. Unless I'm mistaken, I think Dave Scherer brought that up just because he had gotten e-mails about it and said he hadn't heard anything about it. I could easily be wrong though, I'll keep looking.

I shouldn't have read that. Now, SmackDown! is going to be a little ruined for me.
As for JBL VS Morrison, I hope this exchange happened:
JBL: DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!!!! I AM A WRESTLING GOD!!!!
John Morrison: OH YEAH! WELL, I AM THE LIZARD KING!!!!

If it was constructive criticism, then Morrison obviously needs to chill out. But this is JBL here. Historically, he has not exactly been the nicest of guys to the younger talent in the locker room. He makes the Animal House hazings look like medal of honor ceremonies. Some one was going to stand up to him eventually. He might have deserved a good shove, but I wasn't there so perhaps he didn't.
